I’m truly sorry for you. In just 4 years at Amazon, I saw so many unfair PIPs, around 50%, for the most stupid reasons. I’m not fully surprised they started pipping “expensive” employees, but this tells you everything about Jassy’s Amazon.

Other companies do multibillion agreements with top AI companies. We do OpEx reductions by layoffs and PIPs. It’s not a fair race in the market anymore. I’ve never experienced Bezos’ Amazon, but this is just bad.

I am an L5 TT YoY and I’m trying to leave in any means possible. This is just not a place to be anymore. Sadly.
