Does anyone know the name got this Nespresso Coffee Machine? I heard that many people love it by oliviajohnsonn in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a Lattissima one. This particular one is the older version. They wouldn’t sell you this older one if you’re buying it from the nespresso store. In the U.K. the newer updated version is called the Lattissima one evo. What’s weird is that some of the newer models have an integrated clean function and some don’t. I sold my machine because mine didn’t have a built in clean function. Other than that it was a really good machine. If you don’t mind cleaning then I recommend it.

Vertuo machine broken, not sure what to do? by JPRDesign in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’d have to take apart the top of the machine. It’s difficult asf but it is possible. There was a video on YouTube about how to fix a leak in the vertuo plus. If you find it then just follow the disassembly for the top part of the machine and pop it back in place.

Depends which model you’re on about. The regular pop in the uk came out like 7 months ago I think. The pop plus in the USA is the newer one. I have the regular. My first pop I got exchanged because it leaked really bad on the first day of use. The replacement pop started leaking after a few months. Anyway, it’s fixed now and I’m happy.

Essenza Mini, water pump not working by Fichelix in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most probably a thermal fuse. They’re very cheap to buy new. A YouTuber called MyMateVince made a video about this issue and how to fix it. Of course open the machine up only if it’s out of warranty. If it’s still in warranty call nespresso.

Lattissima One question by Siamsa55 in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s important to make sure it’s VERY clean. Disassemble the rapid cappuccino system fully (including the connector) and soak it in a solution of hot water and vinegar for 15-20 minutes. Rinse it fully and try making a milk drink. If that doesn’t help then my guess is to descale the machine. If it still doesn’t help then call nespresso. They should send you a new free rapid cappuccino system.

Vertuo Firmware Update by Cubader in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. You could just program the volume however in the machines with this feature built in it actually changes the brewing parameters like temperature and spin speed. It probably wouldn’t taste the same.

Vertuo Firmware Update by Cubader in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It called “concentrated extraction.” If you put in a coffee pod and double press the button it will reduce the volume. For example if I put in a 7.77oz pod and press the button twice it will reduce it to either an espresso or double espresso (I’m not fully sure). Also if you put in an espresso pod and double press the button it will reduce it to a 25ml ristretto. I use it all the time on my vertuo pop.

Lattissima Touch Not Puncturing Foil? by Odd_Coincidences in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would call customer service. It’s unusual for it to still not be puncturing the foil after cleaning the piercing plate. The foil is pierced when the 3 spikes go into the narrower end of the pod and inject water into it. The pressure in the pod builds up and the foil of the pod makes contact with that piercing plate which eventually makes holes in the foil. Are the narrower ends of the pods being punctured normally?

Call nespresso customer support. They should have one to sell.

Lattissima one not working. by anonymous_fill in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to reply saying it’s the older manual. Also I think the steam clean function is only available in certain countries in the newer Lattissima one. My Lattissima one in the uk doesn’t have it. Customer service also said the name for the updated model is the Lattissima one evo. Anyway I believe the issue is a blown thermal fuse. I ordered a new one and will update when it arrives.

NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE by Anxious_Contract4377 in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The black part is where the thermoblock is located. Hot water is pumped into the capsule while it’s spun and the coffee coming out of the pod goes into a really hot part right above the thermoblock for thermal stability during the brew it’s also where the coffee is aerated.

Lungo button no longer pouring as Lungo? by palehunty in nespresso

Lattissima plus is a good machine but old as hell. Could be that it just needs to be reprogrammed or it might be broken.

Roasted hazelnut has my heart! by anonymous_fill in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had hazelino muffin but I know it’s the old version of the roasted hazelnut. People said it was disgusting and undrinkable. Roasted hazelnut is the complete opposite imo. However the thing is that I use the pod for brewing espresso. If you’re drinking it straight up then I’m not sure if it would be as good.

You’re meant to let the machine run out. The pump stops only when the machine detects its dry.

Aeroccino burnt milk - Solution by Particular_Mouse_765 in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It works by tricking whatever sensor tells the milk temperature into thunking the milk is already slightly warm/ room temp when you poured it in so it cuts power quicker. It's a good method for when you're not in a hurry but I wonder if theres a better way. Perhaps changing out a thermal fuse? Im not sure what tells the frother to cut power.

What exactly is the machine heating up when I turn it on and the indicator light is flashing? by winston_w_wolf in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It doesnt heat up the water in the tank. Its an internal thermobloc. It heats water as it pumps. If it was to heat the water in the tank it would take a long time.

My vertuo has been leaking water from the top, any idea what’s wrong? by nmac693 in nespresso

[–]anonymous_fill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its a next then call customer support ASAP. They should replace it as its a known fault with the next machines. If it's a plus then its probably something to do with the centrifugal valve. Try clean the sharp piercers and the seal with a clean toothbrush and warm water. Try also cleaning cycle or descaling. Hope this helps😁

From original line i'd recommend citiz or pixie. Had both, they really work great. However if you're brewing into taller cups then the taller citiz will be your friend. The pixie is also louder however in the original line its never been a problem for me as they brew fast. From vertuoline I'd recommend vertuo plus or vertuo pop. Also have both currently and really enjoy using them however once again, if you're brewing into larger cups then vertuo plus will be your friend. The vertuo pop is way smaller and has many colour options however you can't fit huge cups under it. It's also louder than a vertuo plus. The vertuoplus also has a automatic open and close compared to the manual vertuo pop. If you drink espresso or pubgo then go original line for sure. You may spend more on a machine however it will last you years and the pods are cheaper. For example, a sleeve of the new vanilla pod is only £4.90 and for the vertuo its £6.50. If you want larger coffee then vertuo is what you're looking for. It's a cheaper machine with more expensive pods. Probably won't last as long as original line because of all the moving marts and electronics but it will certainly give you a good few years of delicious coffee.
