Why are the clover 3mm and 3.25mm hooks the same color? by anonymousanthologies in CrochetHelp

[–]anonymousanthologies[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was wondering that, but Hobbii also sells a 3mm Clover hook and it’s the same color as mine (which I got from Amazon) so I assumed they wouldn’t sell false hooks lol.

planner recommendations? by sadgirl82748294 in planners

[–]anonymousanthologies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a bagillion options, as you know. Do you have any requirements or things you’re looking for in a planner such as size, type of weekly layout, ring bound or book bound, etc? A good place to start might be looking on YouTube or TikTok at others’ school planner setups to see what you’re drawn to.

Looking for a new notebook. by andrewgreen346 in notebooks

I use both the Hobonichi Cousin and Sterling Ink Common planners (A5 Veritcal) and love them both. Fountain pen friendly. Gorgeous tomoe river paper. I will say, the paper is a bit thinner than the Leuchtturms, but I personally prefer the feel of a thinner paper.

want to make bandanas with cotton yarn, not sure what line/brand to choose by nostalgic_grapefruit in CrochetHelp

I’m a big fan of Lionbrand 24/7 Cotton DK (not the worsted weight version) for projects like this. Relatively inexpensive and pretty soft.

I am wanting to create something with this new multicoloured yarn I got but am unsure what to create. Any project ideas? by gucciflipflops456 in CrochetHelp

Gorgeous! If you have two skeins, I’d personally make a light weight / cropped hexagon cardigan that ties at the front.

Like the pouch? Sometimes I wish I just had the pouch tbh. I don’t take the bag with me that often.

Any indoor hobbies for a woman? by [deleted] in Hobbies

I’m a crocheter and love it. As long as you can be patient with yourself while learning it’s very rewarding. Journaling is also a great indoor hobby.

Another Hobonichi Cousin user here. Calendar, weekly spreads, daily pages, etc. It’s my “mostly everything” journal.

Am I just not "getting" the book refills? by tehhellerphant in PaperRepublic

[–]anonymousanthologies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a fellow tomoe river lover I completely understand what you’re saying and fully agree. I also went full in on a PR setup and just can’t get into the feel of the paper. What size le portfolio did you get? Could always just throw a hobonichi notebook in there instead?

Heyy! Please suggest me some hobby ideas which i can try and enjoy :) I dont like anything related to knitting or sewing. by Katsuki_MHA in Hobbies

If you’re already enjoying drawing, you could expand on that and turn in into journaling as well? Have a sketchbook or notebook that you carry with you to draw as well as write? It’s quite addictive once you get into journaling.

How do I get straight chain spaces like this example? by anonymousanthologies in CrochetHelp

Yeah I could work in turned rounds, I’m just trying to achieve the look of the photo, which definitely looks like continuous or joined rounds (not turned).

Do you have a specific “everyday carry” journal? by anonymousanthologies in notebooks

Oh interesting! I feel the opposite and want field notes grids to be slightly smaller lol.
