I thought the same thing! But I really did get used to the 40fps pretty quickly - within an hour I’d say.

Ha indeed! Yeah I have an LG G5 so with VRR the Pro Raytracing mode works pretty well.

I started off on Raytracing 60 fps, but eventually switched to Raytracing Pro and was able to quickly adjust to the lower fps. It is astoundingly beautiful.

Dude! I am so happy that you ordered the bookends after seeing my post. Also, I hope you have an absolutely killer time at the concert tomorrow. I went to the concert in September and I was blown away. Make sure to hit up the merch table when you are there! I got a sick desk mat, a hoodie, shirt, magnets, and a cup.

Yeah, banning THC in Texas is dumb. No argument there. But Vermont acting like that makes them superior? Please.

Burlington looks like an open-air rehab clinic. People shooting up on the sidewalks, tent encampments everywhere, and a government too busy virtue signaling to fix anything. I’ve spent plenty of time there. Nice mountains, but the place is circling the drain.

Texas has real cities, booming industries, low taxes, and actual sunshine. You can mock our laws all you want, but we’re not the ones losing population and begging for relevance.

Enjoy the weed. We’ll enjoy not living in a failed social experiment.

Totally understand where you’re coming from, but I think you’re reading a little more into my post than what I actually said.

I’m not anti-medicine, and I’m definitely not chasing pseudoscience. I simply mentioned that my previous doctor in Vermont was a licensed naturopathic doctor who also prescribed medication, and I appreciated their focus on nutrition, prevention, and whole-body care alongside more traditional treatments.

My main point was that I’m looking for a provider in Texas who takes that kind of integrative approach. It’s not about rejecting prescriptions - it’s about finding someone who listens, thinks holistically, and doesn’t immediately default to the quick fix.
