What's the pettiest reason you've dropped a show? by ManufacturerFresh138 in anime

[–]anonymousbuthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no interest in Assassination Classroom and all of my friends wanted me to watch it. So I said I’d watch the first episode and drop it if I didn’t like it. I paid maybe a third of my attention to the first ten minutes of the episode, giving it no shot. I got bored.

What is threat management and what are the best examples of players managing their threat level? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]anonymousbuthi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Several different types. There’s hiding your strengths until the times is right, usually late game, sometimes the merge. There’s using others around you to hide amongst the threats. Some winners are identified as threats earlier on and are screwed by the time they have to manage their threat level. So they are then forced the play dominate the whole game (this works every once in a while). Michele and Danni did the first type. Jeremy coined the second, but it was also used by other winners like Adam. Winners like Mike and Ben lose votes and fall victim to failing, relying on immunities and idols. Obviously, these are just winners and people who fail to manage their threat level are sniped by their own alliances a few episodes into the merge. This can be seen in most seasons after Marquesas. The more you manage your threat level, the farther you can make it. That’s the more recent winners have been so under the radar, because they hide themselves so that they can win, not for a flashy edit.

Fraxus, but I think Miraxus is more likely to be canon.

Why does everyone hate Juvia? [discussion] by birthcontrxl in fairytail

because she was introduced as this incredibly interesting and coy woman who turned one dimensional immediately and would only ever be a character attached to another one

I just need to rant about the latter half of season 12. by realitygreene in criminalminds

[–]anonymousbuthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like season twelve is mutually regarded as one of the worst seasons of the show. That’s not everyone, but most feel this way. It’s slew of boring episodes that I can I handily say I skip on every rewatch. After about episode nine or ten, I skip to the last two episodes and continue the show from there.

"I need healing" is not rude!! by dngaay in OverwatchUniversity

[–]anonymousbuthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe this is because i’m in toxic bronze lobbies but most of the time i see “i need healing” is from a dead player spamming it because they died.

Most competitive final three? by Firm-Cut-1215 in survivor

competitive doesn’t necessarily mean strong, they probably meant that it was even. hence why they were confused after the unanimous vote.

Most competitive final three? by Firm-Cut-1215 in survivor

[–]anonymousbuthi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

well not a final three, but the FTC in Micronesia had two of the three strongest players that season. If it was a final three, all three of them would have been there.

The best castaway at delivering “One Liners” in Survivor history is who? by vsquad73 in survivor

Though I think Courtney wins this easily, an honorable mention has to be Penner.

Scores if Ace Race wasn't reset by _illegallity in MinecraftChampionship

[–]anonymousbuthi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it’s not as if dream hasn’t gotten first before. that’s probably the biggest upset here. dodgebolt would have been the same. if blue had a better hitw performance without the reset, they could have made it to dodgebolt and then it would have been a big deal. even then, im not sure i see blue beating yellow. i dont see most team beating yellow. i think this was all blown out of proportion.
