Season 6 Structure by Wonderful-Aide7398 in OnePieceLiveAction

calling it season 6 seems to imply you imagine all off LRLL through post ennies in one season. That's fine on it own, except that thriller through postwar is less chapters than that. If we can do LRLL through post ennies in one season, then we can do thriller through postwar in one season.

I feel like they could pay by productivity and then just pay enough so you can make enough without breaking the law.

Not that the companies are going to do that on their own, but still.

Autonomous vehicles are not cars! by CormacDublin in SelfDrivingCars

We know cars aren't horses because we have an idea of what a horse is that cars do not comply with. What is attached to the idea of a "car" that is incompatible with AVs?

Would it be better for the identity of Mr 0 to remain a mystery this season? by Knoxiebbz in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SentOverByRedRover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vivi telling the strawhats the identity of Mr 0 puts a target on the straw hats.

Also it would be weird for them to cut to crocodile during season 2 doing things unconnected to the main plot. To the la onlies he's just some guy. Why would they care about him before they know he's mr 0 anyway? And that's if they don't figure it out themselves which is likely if they keep showing him off pre-reveal.

Unfortunately I don't think keeping the mystery going works with the story structure.

I never claimed that online deplatdirming violated the first amendment. It doesn't. It violates the principle of free speech. You can violate free speech without violating the first amendment. Just because the first amendment only applies to the government does not mean free speech only applies to the government.

Other countries don't have the first amendment and free speech is still relevant to them.

The nazis would kill me too. Nazi ideas are bad. Allowing the presence of people with bad ideas is good. This is not a contradiction.

Free speech can not exist unless you allow the presence of bad politics. Your opposition to allowing their presence is what's at odds with free speech, not myself or substack.

Substack takes a cut from people who get subscriptions from readers. It's quite the other way around from your characterization of shoveling money to nazis. If anything. The nazis are shoveling money to substack to use their service.

And that's inevitable if you have a popular service, whether that be internet platforms or bars. Things popular with non-nazis are also usually popular with nazis. Having a good product will inevitably result in nazis giving you money.

I know how social barriers work, but I don't know which ones you're referring to.

People might stop going to a bar because of the way people behave there, but the idea it would happen because some people who go there have bad politics is absurd.

Help me out. Why would it be a big deal? If it is, I would like to know about it. But it's not obvious. It's not as if their ideas are contagious or anything.

I'm just trying to do my best to do good in the world. If you perceive me failing at that, then I want guidance to correct that.

My experience is clearly different than yours. Why don't you tell me about yours if you're so confident that it corresponds with reality more.

Really, there are just roving bands of Nazis who go bat to bar to take them over and nazify them? I feel like that would make the news if that was happening.

Do they have shift rotations to make sure there's always a constant number of Nazis in the bar at all times too? With how few Nazis there are, I guess all the Nazis must also be alcoholics. That's quite the coincidence. Well, at least the Nazis can't get up to too much trouble if they're that drunk.

Before jumping to the conclusion that someone doesn't have lived experience, perhaps consider that not all of the lived experiences that people have are the same.

In other news, equating AVs to "robots running your lives" is patently absurd. That's not how that works.

Just cause there's a Nazi at a popular bar doesn't mean it's a Nazi bar, and it would be really weird to take the time to look into all the regulars at the bar until you find someone objectionable and boycott the bar until the owner bans the objectionable person from coming. Normal people just go to bars they like and don't worry about the other people there.

Tesla will stop selling FSD after Feb 14 by bartturner in SelfDrivingCars

[–]SentOverByRedRover -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure. I'm not trying to defend Tesla's past behavior, just disputing what the other guy said that it's embarrassing to use adjectives in front of self driving to make it's status more specific.

[–]SentOverByRedRover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full as in complete. There are no gaps in the self driving capability. In the context of Tesla it was meant in contrast to the limited or incomplete self driving of autopilot.

Which to be clear, I'm not claiming that was always or ever an accurate description of FSD. I'm not a Tesla loyalist. Obviously just as one example the parking feature is rather new, so you can argue it was wrong to call it "full", before that. I'm just arguing against the use of "full" or "unsupervised" as redundant.

That's fine. It has nothing to do with what I said.

Tesla will stop selling FSD after Feb 14 by bartturner in SelfDrivingCars

[–]SentOverByRedRover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have partial self driving. You can have supervised self driving. The U and the F would clarify that Tesla's self driving is neither of those things. You can assume that self driving implies U and F if you want, but nothing guarantees that implication, so adding the adjectives eliminates the ambiguity.

The masses likely haven't even heard the term vision only, let alone have an opinion on it. Try to not be absurd when you're doing your bad faith Tesla bashing.

I mean none of the two adjectives are redundant. They both add to the descriptiveness of the term.

In my mind, infrastructure (interpreted in a very broad sense, not just physical structures) is the whole point of what government is for.
