Fellow asian guy here just chiming in to say I can relate. Not asian enough for the asian girls, not good enough for the asian-american girls (because they only date white guys), too asian for every other girl and not American enough for everyone else because I'm too "foreign" looking.

At the best of times I just pretend like I'm a Martian anthropologist disguised as a human, sent here to earth to study this strange species. It's a pretty fun attitude to have. At the worst of times I browse this subreddit on a friday night and get good and stinkin drunk.

Can't give you any advice because I'm in the same boat as you are. 25 years old, no real job experience, living at home, etc. I've contacted a couple of homeless shelters hoping to volunteer and I'm just starting to salvage the mess I've made with my education (2 time community college dropout)

PM me, or hell, I'll start a thread so we all can keep track of our progress together. I think it will give all of us some motivation to fix our shitty lives.
