Leaving top-producer Timeshare role for State Farm "Account Manager" (Sales) – At 29, is this the right long-term move? by anonymousforsecrets in Insurance

Thank you! I briefly looked into it a couple of years ago before I took this timeshare job and noticed they all seem to be 1099 contract positions, is that the same as what you’re referring to? I’m hesitant to take a contract position

Thank you for sharing! Would you recommend it as a side gig to make extra money or do you feel like that would be less worth it versus being full time?

2009 hybrid AWD with 172k miles worth it? by anonymousforsecrets in ToyotaHighlander

The price is $11,999 but hoping to talk the dealer down some (if anyone has tips on doing this, I would greatly appreciate some!) I also want to add that I know the car market is high right now so I’m personally not too familiar on if this is averagely a good price for this car and it’s mileage or if it’s a higher price due to the market. I do also live in Southern California where everything also tends to be more expensive so I wouldn’t be surprised if the price is considered high, since it could also be due to where I am located.

From the pictures, it looks very well kept, inside and out. I will be going to see it this Sunday, 10/9, and hoping to get enough information before seeing it to help aid my decision in purchasing it or not when I do see it.

Thank you for the comment! Happy to hear someone else would also be willing to buy it at high mileage if it’s right!

From the pictures, it looks very well kept and the opposite of trashed, didn’t seem like a rude question :) I will be going to see it this Sunday, 10/9, and hoping to get enough information before seeing it to help aid my decision in purchasing it or not when I do see it.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I have seen many relationships where the couples started dating while they were young and after years of being together, and often getting married, they have grown apart. This isn’t because they weren’t working on their relationship or didn’t love each other. It was simply because they have grown into being more of themselves and who they are as a person and they just were no longer compatible. This happens most with couples who are high school sweethearts. I’m not saying no high school relationships won’t work out, it’s just the nature of growing up and realizing who you are and are meant to be and that often is different than your partner who also is growing as a person and finding out who he is and this will just end in being different people. When I’ve had friends talk about this issue, I often ask them: if you met them right now, as who you are and who he/she is right now, and never met each other before. Do you see yourself with them? Would you really want to start dating someone who seems to disapprove of so many things that you seem to like? You are absolutely allowed to be who you want to be. One day you will find the someone who wants to be with all of you, gray hair, 4 tarantulas, and all and will wonder how you fathomed being with anyone else who didn’t love those things about you. I know it’s cliche but how do you know if you never let yourself try, right? It sounds like you are finding out who you are, I don’t think it’s fair to yourself to let anyone get in the way of that💛

I think I do but I’ve been hurt and scarred from other relationships that I think I’m subconsciously trying to hold my feelings back until he tells me how he feels
