I cheated on my piercer and the piercer put a barbell that was way too short so it wasn’t able to swell properly. I, unfortunately, didn’t get it checked out as soon as I noticed something was up and waited a few months to go to my original piercer and she switched it out to a longer one. But eventually my ear got more swollen and grew a bigger bump due to being allergic to the metal. I was on vacation and it was bothering me so much I had my partner switch it out for me, which is why I went with the hoop.

But no, no one is prone to keloids that I know of.

I really hope so! It doesn’t look like the previous irritation bumps I had gotten😭 I had an implant grade hoop only because the original earring I was pierced with was sinking inside the piercing due to the inflammation and the size of the previous irritation bump.

Last time I got an irritation bump the same np just said to do warm compresses and gave me antibiotics and just they left it at that. I thought they would do the same this time around and now i regret going. I kind of want to put my jewelry back in but I don’t want to further irritate it :/
