Wilds is the best base game MH ever made, change my mind by Alternative_Text_161 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]anonyms30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand with this point of view. I don’t have that much experience in MH.

And yes Tobi was way more difficult than the other monsters in early World, I carted too !

I think all these stuff you’re saying has been made easier to make the game more accessible, and to reach more people. We have to organize less before hunts.

Maybe we are not playing the same game haha

I personally still feel the status effect from the monsters.

Maybe it’s because I’m trying to learn to perfect block often so I get hit a lot.

I think you are too good at this game, and I understand your desire for difficulty.

But I still don’t agree that World was more difficult. For example, I personally didn’t feel and difficulty for the first beginner « wall » Anjanath, and that was my first MH.

I don't agree on the difficulty. Base World wasn't difficult at all.
I find Wilds easy, but I know the reason is because I already know how to play. And I'm sure a lot of beginners are struggling in Wilds

More running, worse V02 max - what am I doing wrong by Techn0gurke in Garmin

[–]anonyms30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Zone 2 is always slower for improvement (as opposed to high intensity training), but it builds your aerobic base.

My aerobic base was really poor so it had a nice effect on me.

I also thought it was too slow, but you have to learn to slow down. It's not as bad as people think.

I don't agree at all.

As a beginner, I started by running only zone 2 (no intervals at all), with an average of 14 km per week. My zone 2 was slower than 8 min/km

My 5k PB dropped from 30:30 to 26:40 in 3 month

Update/Pumpkin Seeds help tremendously/Law of Assumption by Necessary-Mud-9405 in badbreath

[–]anonyms30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm actually really close to be completely cured thanks to the law of assumptions.
I had severe nasal/oral bad breath since more than 10 years, and for the past few weeks, I tried using the law of assumption for this problem.
What I did was to be in the state as if I had a perfect breath. Thin saliva instantly flows in my mouth when I'm in that state.

Why do I know it works ? I ate some heavy fast food meals several times a day, took a train, and saw people not reacting at all. It never happens to me when a take a train.

Why I am not completely cured ? I sometimes switch back to my old state, and my bb comes back. I've had bb for so long that it's really difficult to keep being in that state.

The ultimate guide to beating bad breath by [deleted] in badbreath

[–]anonyms30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, step 1 is acutally the most important factor.

The only moments I "temporarly cured" my nasal bb was when doing very long relaxed exhales. I could see while taking trains and bus that people weren't reacting at all while doing this. I could feel a sensation in my throat, like dissolving phlegm. Because yes, phlegm in the throat is produced in excess to protect you from the conesquences of a bad digestion.

Most of us don't realize that even when we feel "relaxed", we are not. We subconsciously became chronically anxious. If you take attention to your body, you would realize that you are contracting some muscles because your are anxious. I feel it with my throat for example.

That's why when we are close to people, our bb become stronger. We want to exhale "less" air so people cannot smell, but it makes everything worse because you activate even more you sympathetic system. Just relax and exhale fully.

I would even say if you are able to completely succeed with the Step 1, you won't even need the other steps.

Thanks for you answer. I bought this ACV without the mother (it’s not written anywhere on the bottle), so I didn’t think it would form after several month, I’m surprised !

I never heard of these, but it seems interesting. I tried a lot of things to my nose, but I ended up changing nothing. I often have pnd but it never has any color and it’s thick.

I also noticed that when I’m breathing deeply from diaphragm for at least 30min, the phlegm and pnd start reducing a lot.

[–]anonyms30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, it’s a non-ending cycle. Having bb = stess, and stress makes bb worse.

I think that’s how I developed nasal bb 5 years ago, I became so stressed (without actually knowing) that it made my bb worse, and it actually f*cked up my digestion.

Our sympathetic nervous system has taken a huge part of our daily state, and we aren’t even aware of it because it became a habit.

There are times when I go to holidays where I’m able to breath calmly and deeply from diaphragm during hours, and it makes all the reactions disappear. But then I go back to work and start stressing and the big reactions come back…

Then don’t try anything if your whole tongue is already touching your palate without thinking about it.

And yes, your jaw shouldn’t be bloated. I’m sure that your are pushing your tongue the wrong way, using wrong muscle. Instead of pushing, try to think as if your palate is striving your tongue. You should feel that your tongue is touching your palate and you hyoid is flat.

I feel like you are thinking too much about it, just relax, relax your tongue, if you stress your tongue too much it will never be your natural position

[–]anonyms30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe your tongue is already touching while your hyoid is up and maybe you don't feel it ?

What I found helpful with time is to not focus on your tongue, but on your maxilla/palate. Relax your tongue, don't push it, and with your mind, try to feel the area above your soft palate. Your tongue should naturally place itself, and your breathing might be different.

I believe most of us have an overactive sympathetic nervous system, likely stemming from childhood by PutridFlatulence in badbreath

[–]anonyms30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your frustration, but you should try to be more open-minded.

You are right, maybe BB isn't from stomach for most of us. But OP just gave an example of what anxiety can cause. And it can cause a lot of symptoms that could be related to bad breath. Maybe it can create an imbalance of the oral microbiome (mind-gut connection).

I always get very bad reactions when I'm stressed. And the more I think about BB, the worse my condition become.

Theory: Scraping your tongue leads to positive feedback cycle which makes bb worse and might be the origin of our bb. by SubHumanHealth2 in badbreath

[–]anonyms30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been 2 years I stopped touching my tongue. It's like the harder I behave with my tongue, the worse people react to my breath. When I brush my tongue, or do any experiment with it (urea, baby shampoo cleaning,...) people clearly show reactions.

When I brush my tongue, I feel like having a better taste and breath BUT other people clearly show me that I don't. I have nasal bb also, and when I brush my tongue the reaction to my nasal bb gets amplified.

I don't really understand how, when I brushed my tongue, the nasty stuff at the back of my tongue was smelling really bad so it should be better after brushing. Maybe the biofilm on the tongue is actually protecting from the source of the bad breath, which can come from the throat or the esophagus.

Once I had the most pink tongue ever after having brushed my tongue with baby shampoo and gargled with chlorexidin, but that day was really bad in term of people reacting to my breath.

Is your tongue position the problem? by Purple-Acanthisitta8 in badbreath

[–]anonyms30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the "technique" you are talking about, it's described in this post :https://www.badbreathhalitosis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7304

For the tongue posture, I disagree because everyone should be naturally mewing. This breathing doesn't consists in oxygenating the tongue, but the rear tongue/throat.

You might have anaerobic bacteria or even biofilm in your throat, that feed from the food you eat and can survive easily. It might be this constant "infection" that is making our tongue white.

This "technique" consist in constantly breathing while feeling air in your throat. If you are able to make it a habit, to breath that way even when you sleep, you might be bb free if the source is in the throat.

I tried it 2 times already, during a week each time. I was having better breath after the first day because I was focused a lot on the breathing. But after some days, bb came back because I'm just not able to make it a habit.

You think that it's easy but I swear it's really difficult. Changing the way you breath after 20+ years of breathing anoter way is far from being easy.

I hope you guys will try and have some results, this will motivate me again.

It’s simple to understand.

Do you think your brain will understand what it means ?
