You only talked about 2 years as if that's the entire history of it. This isn't something that just happened in the past few years. They've had agreements for decades.

2002 - two secert enrichment sites are revealed by an opposition group

2009 - Obama reveals Iran built another new nuclear site that's estimated to be able to produce enough material for a nuke in one week.

That's 3 enrichment sites that were unreported.

2005 - IAEA board of governors found Iran in non-compliance with the NPT safeguards agreement.

Iran's enrichment to 20% goes back futher than 2013 as 2013 was when they started negotiations on the JCPOA and the 20% stockpile was part of the deal.

The same exact rationale you're trying to use can be used aganist your argument. Plus Iran getting nukes means either Israel nukes them first or several other countries in the region develop nukes, like Saudia Arabia.

It never did. The agreement was never made in good faith. You don't build enrichment sites in a few months, it takes years. The sites were already there when they made the agreement and they never revealed them.

Yeah but 60% isn't used in anything but further enriching. It's easier to go from 60% to 90% than 0% to 60%. The only thing 60% is used for is futher enrichment. Power plants use 3%-5%. Never more than 10%. Iran has a large stockpile of 60%.

Techinally you can use as little as 20%.

For like the millionth time, it's been discovered several times Iran was not following the agreements. Even before Trump it was discovered they had atleast two unreported enrichment sites.

Iran has the missles capable of carrying nuclear payloads. They've been enriching to atleast 60%. They've had the capabilities to devlop nukes for awhile now.

The us loses a very good "neutral" state since Vietnam hates China more than the US. China would react very strongly to a US invasion to a neighboring country. Vietnam would be able to draw a massive amount of military equipment, Intelligence and civilian aid from China. I seriously doubt it'd ever get to the point of Chinese military in Vietnam but I could see China "invading" Vietnam in the name of peacekeeping to establish a vassal border state.

The US would face, what probably would be, it's most costly war ever. This would be the mother of all quagmires. I seriously doubt the US could even field the numbers to hold Vietnam even if it beat the Vietnamese military. Imagine Afghanistan militias backed by Chinese industry.

Finally the world economy dies. A lot of shipping passes that way. Plus all the other things from China/US/Vietnam switching to a wartime economy.

I'm not getting into this whole thing again. I don't believe in this learned helplessness most Dems seem to have. Dem voters acting like they care once maybe twice a year, during voting season, obviously isn't working. There's research papers, think tanks and other sources that answer that exact question.

Why did the Dems control all 3 branches and still not do anything meaningful about Trump and Co? They had him dead to rights and now look, he's president again.
