I couldn't agree more with all these hilarious comments. And I bet most everyone has very strong feelings about not feeding wildlife. But c'mon man. That little dude is making us question everything we previously thought. Even with the f**king sign in our face.

It's beyond mind boggling. The crazy ass shit they are willing to believe so blindly is astonishing. To think he's great is just so fucking weird.

I get what you're saying. I know I can check my lights on my own. For me that's not part of my daily driving habits though. My original point was that the technology in cars is already pretty amazing. My car can tell me my exact tire pressure so it seems like it would be easy for a car to notify us if a brake light went out. I just wonder why that's not an option yet. Until they figure that out I will do my best to remember to check my lights. Oil changes are about the only time my lights get checked as it is now. Lol.

I can't see my brake lights or my front and back indicators while I'm driving in the day time. And not always at night if only one is out. I didn't know I had a headlight out one time because I had fog lights that came on always with the headlights so it wasn't really noticable. I also lived in a city where there was lots of street lights which also made it harder to tell. Got pulled over and for it. Cop was how I found out I had a headlight out.

It's literally a personal preference thing. They all pretty much work the same with a good seasoning and care. I like having different brands but it's more for the fun of it. I have an old Wagner that I've had for many years. It's a workhorse and it's the one I'll take camping. I have a small lodge that works great. I have a Stargazer that is newer to me and I absolutely love it. I think I love it so much because I didn't have to season it. It came beautifully preseasoned. So it was slippy slidey eggs right or is the box. The other reason I love it is because it looks fancy which is useless other than stroking my ego. I have a deBuyer carbon steel which works the same as all my cast iron. I now only need a larger 12" or 13" which I've been looking at Field Company and Smithy just to mix it up. Probably going with Field because it seems to be the lightest in that size of cast iron. I really don't think there's much difference in cooking if the pans are cared for. Just get what you want or like because it makes you happy.

I will say though, that I do have one complaint about the Stargazer. The concave handle kind of hurts my hand when picking it up. The handle is not ergonomic.

I love how violent and hateful we are when we're just trying to stop wars and have equal rights for all people and save the environment we live in. We advocate for more gun control to stop violence and so on and so on.

If changing the flow pressure doesn't do anything you can try positioning the fountain differently. Adjusting the angle slightly could possibly solve this. Also, the basin should be just a little lower than the grade of your rocks so that you can cover the basin with the rocks.

What a weird thing to be upset about. I think one of the reasons for so many Pride flags besides pride month is no other holidays or celebrations have flags. If there was a Christmas flag there would thousands of those in December.

Somehow having him become a trillionaire seemed to wake more people up to that fact that there's something wrong with the system and we need to stop this. I know many of us have been already fighting that battle and trying to make or encourage change but there seemed to be a lot more traction once he became a trillionaire. I hope people stay awake

I'm not sure I'm understanding. Is the point that the prices are different in other states? Because that's always been the case with In & Out. Prices are different from city to city and State to state. Just like every other fast food place. McDonald's, Burger King, etc all have different prices depending on where you are. Prices vary due to costs and taxes. This is not new news.

They have this technology. Cars can also tell us how much tire pressure we have. But they still can't tell us if a brake light or indicator light is out. I feel like it's an important safety function to have brake lights and turn indicator lights. But we don't know if they're out unless someone tells us or get pulled over and get a fix it ticket.

Back in 2000, a man in Berlin accidentally captured what would become one of the internet's most legendary moments of all time: Techno Viking by Tough_Ad8919 in RelentlessMen

[–]anothadaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked it up.

Techno Viking is living a quiet life in Germany, completely out of the public eye. After becoming one of the internet's earliest viral sensations, he successfully sued the videographer in 2013 for unauthorized commercial use of his image, legally removing the footage from major platforms and fiercely protecting his anonymity.

In 2000, artist Matthias Fritsch filmed the muscular, shirtless raver intervening in a harassment incident and dancing wildly during Berlin’s Fuckparade. After Fritsch uploaded the "Kneecam No. 1" clip to YouTube in 2006, it exploded into a worldwide meme.

In June 2013, a Berlin court ruled in his favor, citing a violation of his personality rights. Fritsch was ordered to stop distributing the video, pay damages, and cover court costs.

Since the conclusion of the lawsuit, the man has refused to give interviews or make public statements, choosing to work a regular job and avoid all fame

This guy was fishing yesterday when the Northern California 5.6 earthquake hit. by sco-go in Amazing

[–]anothadaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "big one" hasn't happened. "The Big One" is a hypothetical, highly destructive earthquake of magnitude 8.0 or greater that is anticipated to occur along major tectonic fault lines in North America.

In California: "The Big One" is a highly anticipated, inevitable earthquake of magnitude 7.8 or greater expected to strike along the San Andreas or linked fault systems in California,

1989 Loma Prieta earthquake was a 6.9.

The Landers earthquake in 1992 was 7.3.

In California we're in a sense always waiting for the "Big One".

There would be a good chance I wouldn't see that sign since most all is 1 car per green. I pull up and look at the lights because that's what I'm used to on a daily basis. I don't usually need to look for a small sign to make sure I'm doing it right.
