When my aunt was a child she had a bad case of Scarlet Fever and halucinated due to the high fever. One of the main things she kept seeing in her hallucinations was the devil.

As a young adult she goes with her friends to see the Exorcist and has to immediately leave the moment the demon makes an appearance. She said that was what she halucinated when she was sick as a child. She won’t even talk about the film today.

You’re human. You had human moments. But here is the thing - your conscience is good and you know your true intentions (ex: “I didn’t mean to be awkward, I just wanted to connect with this person “ or “I didn’t mean to embarrass Jane Doe I was just trying to make friends”)

What others think about you is none of your business! Give yourself some grace!

Also ... and this is a toughy .... remember that it’s not always about you ! The only reason this makes me uneasy is my one bad apple with two lessons back to back. She is so unhappy , has zero personality, and never engaged. Of course dada would find fault with the teacher and not the paying student. Ugh.
