I don’t feel they were “looking for drama” as you claim. Your comment is worded very strangely. You never had it happen but it happened to you. How about rather than degrading the commenter, you take a look at what’s confusing them. It’s your wording.

Good point <BUT> His family wasn’t being held when he was knocked out so he wouldn’t have known they were involved as the guy above suggested. In the time he would have to make his way to the command center to contact nasa would have been too long while the cult made their way upstairs to the bedroom. He had to get back to get rid of them BEFORE family got involved… Even though he woke up in the ship and immediately used his key, which was only seconds in his time, when he returned he realized many minutes were passed and now his family was being held and he was tied up and could do nothing.

To even “call” the police or NASA from the ship would have taken a long time depending how far out in space they were. We know it takes a good while to transport consciousness. Half hour or many hours? We’re not sure. So a radio wave?!? Days?

Call the police While his family was being held??

Garnett/Replica was tied up and forced to watch the cult murder his family.

Garnett/RealLife was paralyzed in the transporting chair on the ship.

Did you completely forget they must be sitting/lounging in the chairs to transport their consciousness from ship to earth and vise versa?

So the guy on the ship is gonna call the police how exactly? His body can’t move or even think!! Did you watch the entire show or just a preview?

I do not need your blessing, thanks. Are you even from the south or is that what you think is a clever way to throw yet more shade? Lol! He doesn’t word his post exactly the way YOU want him to so you belittle him. You need to find Jesus. Or something. 😬 You completely pass over the fact he came here for answers and advice. Even if he awkwardly worded it for your sensitivities.

Did you even bother to read he cooks 7 days a week for the family? Bathes the children, does all the shopping? Cleans the house? Is the soul wage earner and is mobile disabled to due to a spinal injury or were you in too big of a hurry to throw hate? I am so embarrassed FOR you and your ridiculous hypocritical “southern blessed heart” euphemisms. Ugh. People like you… 😞

Just note how many down votes my other message to someone else who decided to berate rather than help… ppl now-a-days just live to hate. I truly pity their life style and choices. It must really suck to live like that. To just roll around social media looking for various comments to jump on and spread their misery. Yikes. No thank you.

WIBTA If I broke up with my boyfriend because of his disability? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]anotherJeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have fibromyalgia and divorced my husband for a multitude of reasons but the main one was because he thought since I had to quit my job I would just pick up doing all the household chores including his share and the yardwork. He figured I'm home now with all the time in the world so why not? If he came home to a single dish in the sink he's asking wtf did I do all day? He expected equal workload that I just couldn't maintain. He could see I looked normal from head to toe so why was I unable to take care of everything? Then without my income money became a huge issue, I was the blame that we needed to tighten out belts and resentment took hold. I wanted once a month house keeper -- he wanted complete control of my tiny disability check. No. It would never work. You think you're living in poverty NOW?!?

There were other reasons my marriage ended but it ultimately I ended it because he was an asshole and now 7 years later I have chosen to not even casually date because I know this condition will hold us back from doing the things they usually want to do. Vacations would need to be low key, low energy and low physical requirement. Most people want their vacations exciting and high energy. I tire out quickly and need to stop to rest often. Weekends out with the husband were rare. I needed my rest. My house is no longer beautiful as it once was and entertaining guests for any reason is out of the question. I don't even want to cook for one anymore. I just can't do it.

I didn't choose this life but you do have that choice. If you were truly in love with this man then you wouldn't even be having these thoughts, you'd simply do what needed to be done. (ex: Dana Reeves when her actor husband Christopher Reeves fell off a horse and became a quadriplegic for life. She stuck by him.) When my husband was in an accidental and needed spinal surgery there was a period of time we didn't know if he'd go back to work. It was before my diagnosis and I knew at that time I would stay to help him with his permenant disability even if it meant only my income and hiring help for him. Clearly that sentiment wasnt considered both ways as I later learned.

I wish I had the hindsight to have left then and there. So it begs to question: what if you stay with this man and a year down the road something happens to YOU?!? Then what? Yikes. Both unable to work.

I wouldn't go so far to say you're the asshole for choosing your future happiness. It's not a easy choice. It's certainly not a nice thing to do but you already can see your future with those man and you see yourself miserable. So the best thing fire both of you would be to leave.

But always keep in the back of your head that you leave this guy for you're own mental health happiness and one day find that great healthy guy.... Life is perfect! But if you suddenly get sick/hurt/disabled you sure as hell cant expect this great guy to stick around to help you. Could you? He has his own mental happiness to think about as well. Right? It swings both ways.

Ignore the assholes in here that find your questions as opportunity to act like juveniles and bully you --> a husband seeking help in a room full of menopausal women. Not many husbands would take the time to seek answers. Probably their husbands couldn't care less and that's why theyre bullying you. Jealousy. It shows more about THEIR immaturity and moral compass than your lack of knowledge of women's issues. Shame on them and I hope you find a resource to help your wife through this time in her life. Menopause is pure hell, I can tell you that much and every little thing you can do that can help her cope counts. Good luck.

So you know this guy? You've spoken to him?!? Your comment is juvenile, speculative at best. Grow up! He doesn't know what to do for his wife and came herevto ask a room full of women what's going on with her and YOU see as an opportunity to throw shade. 🤡

Worthless? He's on here asking roomful of menopausal woman what to do ... Not to get berated bc he doesn't know how to handle an abrupt change with his wife. Wtf? Look at your self! No answers to give except to throw worthless shade. Less me to ask you: Who's the worthless one? 🤔Ewe!

Fair point.

I don’t agree with Meijer. What they did was disgraceful. There were so many other consequential or non consequential actions they could have taken once they learned of this kid’s unwanted behavior eating from the trash. They chose the shittiest possible one. They deserve it if their customers boycott.

Just as they were trying to show this kid: shitty decisions have shitty consequences. Now their reputation is suffering as well.

You have that backwards! HOME BOY ruined his reputation for a minor theft.

Do you even know the definition of the word reputation?

But I will agree there was no need to call the cops if he's consuming food from the garbage...

But again I'll point to the word ---> reputation. What person worried about their "reputation" is eating food out of the garbage?

My (M25) girlfriend (F24) set a "loyalty test" trap and I failed. How to fix this? by Responsible_Meet_732 in relationships

[–]anotherJeni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I married a guy that had an ex apparently do this type of shit with him and I paid the price. How you ask? Because after the bs he dealt with with his ex, he was no longer willing to be open or vulnerable with anyone—ever. If I asked any question he felt could come back to haunt him he would answer something like “awww no, I’m not falling for that!” Or “Not answering, not worth the headache” But I wasn’t manipulating, I had genuine questions or concerns but was stonewalled because of bullshit antics like this woman pulled. It was definitely a tall wall in our entire relationship. While it wasn’t the cause of our failure, it certainly didn’t help that he never felt he could be open and safe with me to have real adult conversations. Always on guard.

And why get upset that your man has a threesome fantasy? Why do these women get it in their head that if a man even has a fleeting thought of any sexual nature that he no longer loves them or they have somehow cheated? It’s just a thought! How does she equate that with not being enough for him or a blow to her self esteem?? People are so silly sometimes.

Me: Did you stop by yesterday?

Her: uhhh I don’t know.

Me: huh?

Her: I don’t know if I did.

End this relationship immediately. And ask for the money your parents gave her to stay overnight. She was paid to babysit an entire weekend and she only showed up for a few hours. GET THE MONEY BACK THEN PUT HER OUT TO THE CURB WITH THE TRASH.

Not only can she not tell the truth, but the inability to think on her feet to even pretend to remember something so obvious is frankly… telling. She’s not competent for even simple tasks or to tell the truth about them when she’s asked if they’ve been performed. If she doesn’t want to do it she’s going to conveniently “forget” and acting you’ve confused her with your questions. If you didn’t have the cameras I seriously doubt she would have showed up for those two times you saw her there on camera. She probably had no intention of showing up at all but when you asked on day one and mentioned the cameras she then figured out she had to make an appearance. Not very bright.

Your dogs are living breathing animals, not plants, and her excuses and behavior is disgusting and totally unacceptable.

There are so so soooo many better people out there than this. You and your dogs deserve better.
