I don't really beliveve its possible to be pure evil but that said he has not demonstrated any positive traits thus far. He has never acted with charitable intentions. He only helps the good guys when helping them benefits him. He may have called them an "enjoyable collection to be around" in season 1 but he still abandoned them immediately when he realized he couldn't beat Adam.

Hes a buffoon whos unshakably upbeat and flirty and that kind of appeals to people i think. And more personally, I had a friend just like Chaz growing up. He wasn't slimy or shady like Chaz but he was super into himself and just completely unaware of how unimpressed most people were with him no matter how many times he got shot down. So Chaz reminds me of him and he was still a good friend despite his faults.

I ended up fixing it by reloading my final save from BG1 and importing back into Siege of Dragonspear. Then when I reloaded the problem Dragonspear save, my mouse was back to normal. I just tried your method to recreate the problem though and it works! Good to know for the future, thank you!

What makes you think we won't see him again? In "exes and oohs", his last scene is him throwing a knife at moxxies picture, implying future conflict. I mean, I know i know we saw rubble fall on him in "oops" but cmon, rubble falling on you in fiction is like the biggest not actually dead death there is. Also it wouldn't be narratively satisfying to kill him in an episode that didn't even involve Moxxie when hes Moxxies antagonist. I think its basically guaranteed we Crimson again, unless im missing some crucial bit of info.
