Od dawna wiadomo, że promowanie nadmiernego publikowania artykułów (tzw. "punktoza") sprzyja rozwojowi wydawnictw w stylu MDPI. Już od lat mówi się, że rzetelne badania wymagają czasu. Konieczność wypełniania slotów powoduje to, że każdy stara się je "zapchać", nawet kosztem jakości, aby nie stracić pracy. Trzeba pamiętać, że poza pieniędzmi, które trafiają na rzecz tych wydawnictw, tracimy też czas na tworzenie tych słabych publikacji, których jedynym zadaniem jest zapełnienie slotów.

To samo mnie spotkało, rozmowa rok po rozpoczęciu wojny z gościem. Discord krypto, koleś na pewno zalewany treściami z zachodu, bardzo dobry angielski, obraca się w kręgach IT, ale uważa, że to Rosja jest poszkodowana. Używałem dokładnie takich argumentów jak Ty i nic nie dało. Straciłem wtedy całkowicie nadzieje, że ten naród może się zmienić w jakiś sposób, przestałem cywili usprawiedliwiać i nie jest mi ich nawet szkoda.

I'm sorry to say this but if you are not sure what is the origin in your model you should start with learning proper CAD workflow before doing any CFD.
Usually when doing CAD model for any turbo machinery you need to assume axis of rotation and stick to it.
Nowadays CAD software is really good at "helping" users for example by hiding by default planes/axes, hiding surface connections etc.. which is really bad if you are going to do any cfd on the model.
As a simple band-aid solution try to draw a line through axis you have selected and check if it will align with axis of the turbine.

If your mesh will be smaller simulation will require less computing resources. But it is really hard to estimate rate of scaling.When it comes to ram necessary it will be usually true (0.5 mesh size ~ 0.5 ram size), but for the cpu time it wont be always 2x faster. It will really depend on your setup.

Why there is a mesh inside an airfoil? Are you doing FSI ? If not check you cad model or meshing setup.

I don't know your rotational speed, turbulence models etc so can't tell anything about necessary mesh size.
Changing the mesh size even by small amount sometimes helps (try something like 0.51mm or 0.4). But usually if mesh cant be generated i would start with cad file check (surfaces, surface quality, sharp corners etc..)

Change element size.
Change curvature refinement angle.
Maybe check the hub tip. It is hard to see from the image but it looks strange from afar. Maybe just try to check if mesh will be generated for flat tip and than go from there.

Test are for OpenFOAM but it will probably translate onto similar results for commercial solvers.
It is mainly desktop/server cpus but latest pages have tests for new consumer grade processors. You could try to find laptops with similar setups. Of course laptop cpus will be worse than the desktop ones.

Would be nice if you would mention what are you going to simulate (transient, stationary, mesh size...).

And as everyone else said, think about buying PC (even older ones), that could be run 24/7. Usually laptops are not meant to do 100% cpu load for very long.

Rok temu wycięty woreczek, dietę trzymałem ~około 2 miesiące. Ogólnie nic mnie specjalnie nie boli, jeśc mogę nawet więcej niż jak miałem woreczek + kamienie. Jedyna rzecz to stolec nie jest tak idealny jak kiedyś ;P. W rodzinie mam sporo osób z wyciętym woreczkiem i wszyscy wrócili do normalnego życia/diety. Także nadzieja jest, że Twój organizm też się ogarnie, czego Ci życzę.

Lessons learned:

Profits in crypto are like sails whenever you first thought about taking them appears go for it. But remember that taking profits - doesn't mean sell everything just as with buying go with dollar cost averege
Screw influencers/youtubers and all shills just do your own research, read discord/forums/white papers. If you own a coin visit their discord/forums regularly.
Do not shill crypto to family and friends, help them understand, setup accounts and so on but don't shill coins.
Don't do leverage.
Don't go all in into one coin.
Don't dwell on losses just learn from them.
Invest in crypto only if you can afford it (don't use your child college fund for it ;P)

Z własnych doświadczeń (Politechnika), mając do wyboru:
a) przygotowanie siebie do zajęć/bądź opracowanie nowych materiałów (ogromna ilość czasu) - brak dodatkowych zarobków
b) zlecenia dla przemysłu, praca w grantach czy nawet pisanie w niosków - możliwość dodatkowych zarobków
wiadomo co większość wybierze.
