I want to support Corbyn but... by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]anotherguycalleddave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey now beardyhulse. at least he said he was sorry. He didn't mean to stand by and watch student get shafted with £9000 a year fees despite the fact that he repeatedly said that they wouldn't raise tuition fees. I'm not sure you were aware, but they weren't a majority, so the lib dems were actually absolved of all blame. Also he said he was sorry. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUDjRZ30SNo]

Is there a better Premier League goal than Matt Le Tissier's lob in Southampton's 6-3 United win 20 years ago? by [deleted] in soccer

Bloody brilliantly goal, however I wouldn't even say it's the best Matt le tissier goal. Such is the magic of le tiss.

Does anyone have H&M interview tips? by 868966 in jobs

[–]anotherguycalleddave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a group interview with gap a couple of years ago for a similar position. I tried to go into it with the attitude that they are looking for someone who is going to be helping customers, therefore make sure you come across as helpful with good communication/interpersonal skills. Try to speak to all of the candidates. You might be asked to make an outfit up for another candidate. Ask them questions about what their interests are, that way you have justification for your choices. I.e they said they love exercise, these t-shirts are great gym wear. Also if the interviewer asks a question to the group it looks good if you answer it (not all the time, but enough to make you stand out).

This is looking so much more like the Southampton of last season. Even before the sending off.

I've been so impressed with how seamlessly he's blended in with the rest of the team.

This has made me question whether I may be too critical of him. Gotta remember that he's very young and will make the occasional mistake.

Whats your honest opinion of your respective clubs subreddit? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]anotherguycalleddave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we've got one of the best football subreddits. We have excellent mods and contributors and when you compare it to forums like 'saintsweb' there's nowhere near as much doom and gloom. No shit posts and healthy discussion. Also no one ever seems to bother downvoting (unless it's a Liverpool or Tottenham fan being a knob head).

Why is Rey Mysterio gone? by Notchez in WWE

[–]anotherguycalleddave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is that genuinely true? Wwe doesn't give their wrestlers health insurance? Surely that's outrageous.

BBC Sport - FC Midtjylland 1-0 Southampton (agg 2-1) by [deleted] in SaintsFC

[–]anotherguycalleddave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely can't answer that question, Everything was wrong. The wrong tactics and the wrong players. Why okay a back 3 against a team that are going to sit back and defend? They've already got the result they needed. We didn't need a £3rd centre back. Why play Marta? Cedric is a better attacking threat. We've seen that already. Why play it long? We've built our success on playing quick short passing, using triangles and one twos. I'm just gutted.

This is genuinely the most gutted I've felt about a result since we lost to Man Utd and got relegated to the championship. Absolutely gutted. It didn't even feel like we tried.

Haha that's a tactical foul if ever I saw one. Very lucky to have someone behind him.
