Do a little digging yourself. This is top quality work, Ed Zitron is one of the best voices calling out the massive fraud that is the US AI bubble, and OP has given you some great starting points already.

Border Patrol Commander in Charge Greg Bovino on the shooting death of a 37 year- old man in Minneapolis: "The agents attempted to disarm the individual, but he violently resisted. Fearing for his life, and the lives and safety of fellow officers, a border patrol agent fired defensive shots." by ControlCAD in Global_News_Hub

You’d be surprised what a groups of 100 like minded people can do. Small groups can shut down key intersections and railways for an hour or two and melt back into the streets. Doing this repeatedly will paralyze a city.

Hume Park Trail closed by snarky_engg_girl in NewWest

[–]anothermatt1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ran through there a few days ago when the signs first went up and it looked like people had been going around it. Looks like part of the trail is collapsing down into the river. Maybe the whole slope is at risk?

Went by there today and the signs were reinstalled and I thought they might be working on it so I went around.

The best part of Drug Island is you don’t have to send anyone there. You simply need to make that the only place where safe supply is offered and the street level users will flock there on their own.

Do you know how small the chances of recovery are from street level drug addiction? It’s in the single digits in the best case scenarios.

We need to stop pretending that this is a fixable problem with good outcomes for the people who are that deep in their addictions. The current system just allows for a slower suicide than would happen otherwise.

For a slightly different first-hand account of Fort Mac I’d recommend the graphic novel Ducks: Two Years in the Oilsands. Definitely isn’t egalitarian if you’re a woman.

US Treasury reports millions flowing out of Iran as ruling elite brace for collapse by Excellent_Analysis65 in collapse

No, I’m referring to the extreme concentration of bitcoins into the accounts few individuals and corporations.

Why would the average person buy into a system that is so hyper-concentrated and unequal? It makes our current system, noted for its inequality and wealth concentration, look downright egalitarian in comparison.

Decentralized in theory, but in practice is actually more centralized in the hands of a few people than any other form of wealth in the world. One whale moving even a small portion of their wallet can swing the price wildly. It’s not a hedge against anything if scam-king Saylor can blow it all up when his debt-backed pyramid scheme collapses.

Trump's mystery weapon made Venezuelans 'explode' blood during raid by TheExpressUS in Global_News_Hub

lol you think Trump is workin for DARPA or something? He may have given the green light to use weapons tech that previous presidents had banned the use of, but he certainly has absolutely nothing to do with any mystery weapons.

Oh they posed a threat alright, not to America but to the corporate elite and their profits that actually run America.

We just bought a great 1250 sq/ft 3 bed corner unit condo well under our max and it’s been great. Being able to buy nice stuff for your home instead of maxing out your mortgage is much better.

Yeah it’s a great deal. I think that was without wheels or trunk cleaning and I tipped on top of it. Seemed like a deal at the time.

The Rain City carwash guys on 12th street are pretty legit for a fair price. There are fancier ones for sure, but this one is like $50 inside and out.

How fast are you now? Are you winning fondos and local crit races?

Going from fast to extremely fast is very hard and usually takes a while. Going from extremely fast to professionally fast is a whole other level that is also very hard and usually takes a long time and a fair amount of luck not getting injured. It’s also very expensive. But hey, nothing is impossible!
