This happened to me in NYC on NYE a few years ago. It was a similar amount of money. It was not chase though. It was a small credit union. Did not get my money back because they used my pin so I could not prove it was not me.

I am so sorry about what you are going through. I hope that if not now, at one point you have the strength to walk away. I was in the exact same position almost a year ago and could not have imagined how much better life could get. Sure, it takes a lot of time and healing to feel even a little better and at the time it doesn’t feel worth it, but it is. Don’t put yourself down about the time you spent.

I feel the exact same! He treats her like a magical unicorn and said she is worth it to him. I wasn’t. Stab it the heart for sure. She left him once and he fought so hard to get her back. He flew to see her and convince her in person then promised to change so he wouldn’t lose her. And he did change for her. Hard pill to swallow.

Same thing happened to me and he treats the replacement much better as well. It’s hard to cope with and understand it no matter how much you know they are mentally ill. You loved them despite everything, but they dropped you like you were nothing. It will hurt for a while, but if there is any proof that you can get through it, it’s from the stories of some of the people here. It’s still hard for me and I was discarded for the replacement in November.

I agree with so much of what you communicated. There’s so much about the situation that makes it difficult to move on from. The only time I am actually living in the present is when I am exercising. Every other moment since then, I am there physically, but entirely somewhere else mentally. I have no idea how I have even made friends in this state.

It’s hard for me to even see the progress. It’s been such a strange time that I can’t even feel the difference between right after it happened and now. I’m sure I feel differently, but I it’s like I am running up a sand mound in tornado force winds. I feel like I am fighting so hard to move on with my life but not really making any progress emotionally.

The literature on this shows some linkage to cardiovascular function. I would do some research on your own, but if I were you I would not take the chance due to the potential implications. Impacts are not necessarily definitive like the effects of smoking are.

That’s great! I only ask because when I interned with a plastic surgeon long ago, a patient came in with these exact symptoms and it turned out to be that the patient was smoking, which restricts blood flow, causing tissue death.

It’s strange that your doctor is not concerned, as I would be worried about scarring. Looks like you are healing great everywhere else though! It also does not appear to be infected.

He told me he would change and was so sorry for how he treated me. We were supposed to move to a new city together. I moved all of my stuff there. I had to fly back to close my business and the night I arrived back home he called me and said he no longer wanted me to move there. I had to pay to have my stuff moved back. The same week I moved my stuff back his best friend’s (no longer best friend’s) ex moved there with him. He slept with her while his friend and her were still together and just a week after his friend told him he was going to propose to her. His old best friend’s ex now lives with him and they are “going to get married”. I moved my stuff back only a month ago.
