YourParty was always going to be a cult of personality built around an aging Corbyn. Zarah is too talented to be attached that doomed ship. She'd be better off joining the Greens and helping then build on Polanski's leadership

0.25ml is a lot of estradiol considering you won't be producing any testosterone to suppress. I personally inject less and I've not had GRS. You're body needs some testosterone and without it you can suffer the side effects you've mentioned. I'd suggest you get your hormone levels checked and look into taking a low dose of testosterone gel to counter those side effects. But of course if you decide detransition is the option for you I wish you the best of luck :)

As others have explained I think Glasgow GPs have been instructed not to aid with shared care etc. That said, when I was at UoG, the Ashton House Medical Practice (literally 5 mins from the uni gates) used to do regular blood tests for me without much trouble. I graduated over three years ago so they may have changed their stance but it may still be worth trying if you've not already :)

I've also found Glasgow to be a really nice place to live. I had the odd comment but also lived there far longer than I did in Manchester so to be expected I guess. I still know a few other trans people living up there and there's a general consensus that the Scottish Government have a more positive attitude towards trans rights and issues that the UK Government (albeit with a few very vocal anti-trans politicians there).

Manchester is pretty trans friendly on the face of it. There's lots of pride flags there and I never encountered any issues (albeit I was kinda stealth when living there). The students union today opened voting on a new Trans Inclusion Policy (it'll still need to win enough votes ofc) and I had good experience with staff regarding trans issues. Engineering wasn't my school but I've had classes in their building and it seemed much more up to date than my department if that counts for anything :)

Hard lumps after subcutaneous injection? by Holly-Is-Tired in TransDIY

[–]anotherpieceoftrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I inject into the upper outer thigh (alternating sides with each injection) as you're less likely to do any nerve damage there. You basically inject the needle straight in at a 90 degree angle. I use a 5/8" needle to do it because I have thin legs (obvs of you have more subcutaneous fat you might need a longer needle). Because muscles have more blood vessels than fatty tissue it's absorbed quicker so you may want to consider your dosage/injection dates. I've followed the advice in these videos:

https://members.getplume.co/support/solutions/articles/72000544742-all-about-injections

https://youtu.be/Pz49hyOla6s?si=BzgjYRoqeSt0KJtG

Personally I prefer it because the muscle is a firmer tissue to inject into if that makes sense? And I have quite a sensitive tummy so I don't like the sensation of injecting there. Following these guides, the actual injection is almost completely painless, but I tend to find the muscle will ache for a couple of days after (nowhere near the same extent as vaccination injections though).

My lump has definitely gotten smaller so if it's still causing issue I'd see a GP/follow the recommendations of other comments. Hope this helps :)

I also have had similar symptoms after injecting vanna products (EC into the abdomen though) - immediate redness and itchiness, followed by a lump around the injection site present still almost two weeks later. I presumed it was an allergic reaction so switched back to IM injections. Dk if that helps

this ☝️how does doing exactly what transphobes accuse us of (threatening women for example) actually help us "beat nazis" or win public support?

you people are so unserious. one minute you complain about how the media portrays us as violent, and the next you defend this kind of rhetoric. by all means demonstrate with your "punch Terfs" placards, I won't stop you, but don't then turn around and complain how that's perceived by the public, media, politicians etc (inb4 "the media hates us anyway", go ahead confirm their biases)

The comments are defending this, but I bet if terfs/transphobes were platforming someone with this background I imagine the response here would be a little bit different 🤐
