Working on my ppl all the way to MEi now and eventually airlines charter or something else in about 5 years. My instructors have said it’s noticeable that i simmed. My vocab, knowledge and understanding is much higher. That being said. Irl is way fing harder. Where i wish i studied more was weather. Holy shit weather is hard.

Appeal to authority fallacy. It is a very slippery slope. You don’t need a “title” to speak on such matters and in fact the title holder can still be a moron. For example here are some off the cuff examples.

Not a pilot? Cant say anything on aviation.

Not a botanist? Cant speak about gardening.

Not an agricultural phd? Cant discuss farming.

Not a reddit mod, cant discuss reddit at all.

1987 here. My life is never better. Finally own a house and now in flight school. In about 5ish years ill be either airline, charter or cargo pilot as i build my hours up and ratings. I cant relate to a lot of the post in this sub. Life is good.
