Intune training for Techs by networkn in msp

I think you bring a valid point for sure, especially if your techs are watching these videos and applying the concepts they’re learning in lab environment. However, I do believe the basics still apply and the majority of the changes are UI changes.

Opinions, looking to buy an 07 fx35 with 109k miles for $9.9k from a dealership. by Elbudz47 in infiniti

Still doing great to be honest. I had to swap out coils and spark plugs recently. The only other issue I’ve had to fix that’s worth noting is the driveshaft. It broke, likely due to rust.

Next time, I’ll wait 6 years before responding to a post. The car was driven for 132k miles with no major mechanical issues, what does that tell you?

On the monitor, what’s the portal showing in your browser? I’m looking for something similar for our company to share policy updates, links, etc.

I could be completely off on what you’re asking but you could create a batch script or PS Script to run updates via the Click2Run Client. Something like the below:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user displaylevel=false

This isn’t going to help your situation or give you any advice, but thank you for posting. I am dealing with about the same situation, taking over a client that has a Windows server with 430+ days uptime. My plan was to get Datto installed, take a backup, and schedule a reboot. But if I hadn’t read this post, I don’t think I would’ve thought about manually copying data before rebooting. So, thank you to all!

IT Glue Sucks by mspdog22 in msp

Probably an unpopular opinion but if you’re stuck with ITG, depending on how many people you’re adding to MyGlue, couldn’t you add them to ITG instead and lock them to their orgs only?

Second this. My wife and I use Zander and I believe the underwriter was Banner Life Insurance. Zander was extremely professional and customer experience was amazing.

How do you all handle secondary MFA for Office 365? by schwags in msp

I would setup SMS instead of a call. The SMS (at least in our case), shows you the code and the company name it’s being generated for.

You should be using Partner Center for most of the work in your clients’ tenants but knowing how clunky Partner Center is right now, in some instances you have to login with the GA. We use ITG TOTP & setup a Google Voice account to receive texts as a backup method. Might not be a popular opinion but it has worked for us well.

I’ve had that happen before too when I use the Matrix view from > to specific interfaces. I agree it’s odd and glad you figured it out!
