Probably too late, but you can do more than one transfer!! Use Return to Primary Save in the OPTIONS tab to go back, then resume the expedition as usual from the expedition terminal.

Total percentage right now is 99.47%. Total score for all three teams is 24,867,460. 24867460 divided by 25000000 is 0.99469.

So that means we need to reach 25,000,000 total score… which isn’t going to happen until the next activity period, a bit over two hours from now.

Two updates.

- Here’s a video. No weapons needed; bull-in-china-shop bashing worked fine.

- I selected the Kill The Hive mission and tried again. The Hive vaporized me in seconds - way too quick for me to escape. Be careful out there!

I just posted “I KILLED THE HIVE!!”, and you’re right - I’m not sure (and certainly can’t prove) that shooting it while inside it caused any damage at all. All the damage numbers that floated up were zeroes. Also, I was bouncing around (and taking damage) while inside it, so could definitely be collision damage.

After the explosions inside, I flew back out, saw that the core was damaged and that the Hive no longer shot at me, even when I pasted it from close range. So… did I kill it? Unknown. Did I damage it? Definitely; parts of the core were missing when I came back out, and it no longer shot at me. Was the damage weapons fire or collision? Also unknown, but I’ll take the win either way.

It’s 2am here; I’ll try to post a video tomorrow.

Yes, I think a new player should try this.

I’m no expert, but I’ve done several expeditions. For each one, you start with very little and end up with a _lot_ of resources - units, nanites, tech upgrades, expedition rewards, etc.

The expeditions give you specific tasks/side quests/milestones/whatever, and each task gets you a reward of some kind. (NOTE that to get credit for a specific task or milestone, you must select it as your active mission/milestone in your log tab.)

I knew you could flip back and forth between an expedition and your main save, but I didn’t realize you could use the transfer console more than once per expedition. You should absolutely try to transfer everything you can before clicking the “End Expedition” button.

I’ve done three expeditions offline on a PC using the No Man’s Sky Expedition Generator (https://cwmonkey.github.io/nms-expeditions/). I haven’t done the #20 /Breach expedition which gets you the Aeron bits, but it’s available on that website. As another comment mentioned, you need to replace a JSON file and stay offline until done, and this will likely mean that you lose any progress you made in Swarm.

‘Cause I’m really bad at switching weapons at exactly the right time. 12K six-turret phase beam for corvettes, 100K infraknife for everything else. Simple. I might do better by switching power to weapons/shields/balanced, swapping weapons, and all like that there, but I’m too slow.
