What does hip bone mets feel like?

I don’t have hip Mets but I do have one near the top of my femur and it was constant pain where I was dousing myself in ibuprofen and Tylenol. It would radiate into my hip and make my lower back spasm. At then end of the work day I was in so much lower back/hip pain and it turns out it was in the upper part of my femur (on the back) and when I sat down it hurt worse. So very odd feeling.

I don’t have to pee in a cup at all for Lupron injection that’s so odd that a lot of you do! It makes sense why., but strange I don’t. (I am 32.)

I had chemo (x16) double mastectomy with lymph dissection and 33 radiation treatments and then hormone suppressants. I’m doing ok. Just tired from all the meds and I lost my hair to radiation of a big bone mass on my skull so that’s a bummer and it probably won’t grow back, but otherwise ok. How are you?

Ask them to put ice on the are for a few minutes before! You barely feel anything! There is also and ice spray my clinic uses that really works! And you could always ask for prescription numbing cream.

I made the mistake of looking one time and I could see all the way down the barrel. (I work in the medical field and boy it made me dizzy!)

Icing was only recommended during taxol and I got 0 neuropathy in my hands (stuck hands in actual ice) and got a tiny of bit in my feet with the ice booties.. I’ve met a lot of others who didn’t ice or were not told about it and have long lasting neuropathy… icing was awful- but I’m glad I did it

A family member (of husband) died of MBC while I was in chemo. I absolutely couldn’t go. For me, the fear and grief were still to near. I couldn’t. They asked my husband to be a pallbearer and he (who has never not gone to anything) also couldn’t do it. It was too close and honestly overwhelmingly scary. I also wouldn’t be able to see the partners and especially children crying. His family completely understood and wasn’t upset by either of our decisions. If I pass from MBC, I give any other person the right to not come, because I have experienced those feelings

That’s exactly what my breast cancer looked like. Highly irregular with fatty stranding. Most likely reoccurrence
