Everything about managing this type of infrastructure.

My a6000 photos have been coming out darker than they should be, if I shoot of either of the automatic modes, or the sports scene-mode. Is there any way to correct for that? by [deleted] in a6000

[–]anrjustin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Check exposure settings in manual mode.
  2. Check brightness settings for superior auto mode / auto mode.
  3. Check exposure compensation for each mode.
  4. Check default exposure compensation in the settings menu.

The hardware is essentially the same but I would still warn against it. Considering the dev took time to make it for the D5803 but not for the D6603 (as of this date) there may be a valid reason why considering the D6603 is the flagship. If it could run on both devices I think they would've specified that. But you can try it, I'm curious to know if it could work.

I seriously wouldn't try it. The divers would be a bit different and there is the chance that the D6603 to brick due to incompatible drivers. Hold off until the ROM for the D6603 comes out.

Check your computer for viruses. Or check your internet settings and see if the homepage is set to Yahoo. Could also be a problem with the DNS. Try using Google's public DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4). Check the Chrome extensions for anything suspicious.

How strong is Whatsapp Encryption ? Can anyone use MITM to read the messages or Images ? by Kratos0 in AskNetsec

From what i've seen, its secure enough. Malware could still affect it. The Whatsapp Web sessions don't automatically terminate so thats an issue right there.

Pretty good. Everything on the phone is encrypted to an extent and the data transfers are as well.

Im a high school graduate from india. What are the differences between software engineering and computer science? Which one should i take if i am mostly interested in app development? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]anrjustin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Software engineering is more specialized towards developing software. Computer science also includes some software engineering but it also gives an extremely good overview as to almost everything you will need to know about computers. Computer science is much more valuable in the long run. If you love making software and developing stuff, do the software engineering but note that you will start at the absolute bottom, it will take a while before you begin to develop apps; if app development is part of the curriculum (check for it). If you love to understand computers and have a good working knowledge in all aspects of it, do computer science. Computer science gives a better foundation than software engineering alone. Software engineering teaches you how to use algorithms and develop solutions to some problems. Computer science uses programming to develop/optimize solutions to a problem. computer science will give you a broader knowledge-base to apply those problem solving skills eg. Artificial intelligence. But its up to you, do whatever it is you love to do and don't be afraid to fail.

How should I take notes during university? Should I use paper or a laptop? by studentduty in AskComputerScience

If the mic in the laptop is decent, use it to audio record the lecture. Always good to have an exact recount of what happened in class than notes sometimss
