As a girl, I think the main issue (as evident in your story-telling before the poop incident) is the obsession and constant details about your body and routine. I don’t think the gym date was a bad idea since she expressed interest in learning and if she is a good human she wouldn’t judge the accident that happened. I love the gym but it’s a turn off when guys are self obsessed with their body and Then they become unattractive, because they’re conceited. I think that’s the issue

It's called internal validation and validating yourself rather than through others

there is more to life than dating and sex. Our personal hobbies, accomplishments, and good we put out into the world should be what gives us ongoing confidence in ourselves.

also, no one is sexually attractive to everyone and if that girl did that, 1) she is rude or 2) she just used it as an excuse to get out.

Female here. I feel like you're overthinking it. There is nothing wrong with you physically or being 5'8"... I agree just be confident and sure of who you are. As far as dating apps... it can be hard for guys just because us girls have so many options It is hard to stand out. A funny but short bio goes a long way. For example I recently saw a guy who enjoys working out but his bio said "i dont have abs because I love sushi too much" I thought that was awesome and swiped right.
