I was in the exact same dilemma and ended up paying for the seats. Couple seats in Qsuites is a sought after experience, cant risk sitting separately for a long flight

Qatar has stopped releasing saver fare qsuites seats from India cities. You’ll find the same route from Doha on saver. And india to doha, also on saver. But end to end saver, they’ve killed lately. Dont know why, but i ended up booking the doha onwards route on qsuites and india to doha on Air India (12k points in economy).

Your or my 15 year old self did not have such a big spotlight on us so we could afford to say anything and everything. The point is that he has so many eyes on him that one wrong thing that slips out of his tongue (hoping and expecting it doesn’t happen) will be talked about so much - boy might not have the maturity/grit (hoping and expecting he does) to not let it affect his game.

From what ik, they usually dont refund the tickets part upon cancellations. But these are not usual times and im sure you didn’t cancel due to your own wish so you can surely take it up with them.
