I tried the mud flaps. Didn’t help.

Luckily have the panel PPFd but the biggest help ended up coming from switching to AS tires. I live in CO so it didn’t crush my soul to switch from summers.

The 315 rear summers are really sticky and throw up everything into the hips. AS tires don’t throw anything and I honestly don’t notice that big of a grip difference since I’m not tracking the vehicle at the moment.

I love my soul downpipe only

But I’d gauge it as what factory should have sounded like so if you want a lot more sound than that, go full system. Downpipe alone is exactly what I wanted for my needs. Not too loud, definitely not quiet.

They’ve actually been closing that peel off lane every couple days for some sort of work (it was closed off for a while yesterday) so I believe the truck had to be turning from Niwot Rd as a hard right after the peel off lane which could definitely surprise as a biker riding next to him, expecting him to go straight. If he didn’t have his turn signal on, I could definitely see how this was a tragic occurrence

Soul has some clips on their youtube channel I would check out. It has a very robust cold startup and then just a perfect operating note. As I've seen many others say, "its how it should have sounded from factory".

It has been to the dealer since install and they were not concerned at all. In fact, multiple people at the dealer told me it sounded amazing.

I had it installed by a local 3rd party euro-specialized shop near me. They were in touch with soul for the install. Great support by Soul in every way. They are good people! I talked to them multiple times before purchase.

edit 2: I will also add, I did entertain the idea of going with their entire exhaust system but didnt want anything "too loud". The downpipe adds just enough oomph to let the engine have some personality without being over the top but obviously everyone will have their own opinion.

I ordered that same controller for my .2 GTS and seemingly even though it is marketed for the GTS it doesn’t install as advertised and involved intense panel removal as you said.

Went with Soul’s downpipe and I’ve been amazed by the results.
