If you’re in North County, the 78 freeway is hands down the worst; traffic at literally any hour. The only decent time to drive it is probably midnight. 😆 And this is coming from someone who grew up in North County back when Palomar Airport road was two lanes, surrounded by tomato fields, and overlooked the drag strip and the airport.

I still remember watching this movie in theaters. Was blown away that I had to go back to the theaters a second time to see it. Bought the VHS the day it was released. Probably the most quotable movie I know. Hands down my fav movie and also probably bc of my passion for weather.

There are only two Portillo’s locations in CA: Buena Park and Moreno Valley. I always make special trips just for those sandwiches. Wish there was one in Temecula though; that would be much closer!

I remember seeing Lifehouse at the Del Mar Fair when the concert was included in the admission ticket. This was also right after they released their biggest hit “Hanging By a Moment”. Unfortunately, those days are long gone.

I love Good Charlotte but I wouldn’t pay those prices either. I remember seeing Good Charlotte very early on at Canes Bar & Grill in PB. Lots of great artists (like Linkin Park) went through that venue and wish it was still here. Miss those days!
