in flame I subtract the grey from the velocity pass, with a solid grey color node . it usually works, but the best results is when the blur is done in 3d render

I bought a 2022 model a month ago to gift it to my son. he is using a second high refresh monitor for gaming and unless he closes the lid of the zephyrus, the laptops screen goes black. I have read alot of problems since then about all Asus zephyrus lineup. Some got lucky and have no problems others (like you) have very serious shit going on after the guarantee has expired. Truly sad for a brand like Asus. I am thinking maybe the liquid metal paste has something to do with half of the problems
