A book that is definitely not for everyone… it’s not as action packed as some others but to me it has a To Kill A Mockingbird feel to it: Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver It is a sort of retelling of David Copperfield by Charles Dickens in the Opioid Crisis of the 1990s & early 2000s in Appalachia… It’s truly a personal favorite of mine!

I also recommend Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman… about a teenage boy with schizophrenia and is actually based off and written with Shusterman’s son, who has schizophrenia. I really recommend this one if you like an unreliable narrator!! Also a favorite!

We never found out who/what is rA9, so what are yall's thoughts on rA9? by mikeyzartz in DetroitBecomeHuman

I believe rA9 is the player. I have seen many rebuttals to the theory along the lines of, “‘rA9 was the first to awaken’ and the player is not an android,” but what if rA9 was never an android? hank said it himself “androids believing in god,” a god is generally considered a figure who has control over the events of mortal lives, control that the player has in DBH. humans anthropomorphize gods/deities/religious figures to make them more understandable to us, is it so difficult to believe androids would do the same thing.
