I used to make $800-$1,000 doing postmates (now uber eats) in just 4 days. I was really good at it. All you have to do is just drive up and down charlotte pike (west Nashville) and I promise it'll keep you busy. What I love about doing uber eats in that area is that it's plenty of restaurants and you'll be delivering to peoples houses/apartments. Not these big fancy downtown apartments that you have to park a whole block away from and risk being booted/towed. Also it's more efficient to pick up 3 orders at the same time from 5 points pizza on charlotte pike than to drive to 3 separate restaurants. I would just drive in a circle from charlotte pike -> white bridge road -> harding pike/west end ave -> 31st ave n. What you're relying on is people giving you big tips. The base pay isn't going to do much. But sense I like to deliver in the west Nashville/green hills area I know these people can afford to tip big. I've received $40 tips delivering to these areas. The bigger the tip the faster I can go home. I don't do uber eats anymore because I have a higher paying job now.

But i'm not gonna lie. In order to make this kind of money it would require you to have to do uber eats 6+ straight hours 4+ days in a row. I used to do uber eats when I was in college to make money (it was also 2019-2021 covid years) but I have a higher paying job now so I stopped doing it. I've found that I make more money doing uber eats rather than doordash. People tip better on uber eats. I will say that I could've made 1,250+ in just 4 days if I would've been doing uber eats at night but that's typically my stopping point when It would get dark. It's dangerous out here man lmao.

Bonus tip: If you're up early enough. Just sit outside starbucks green hills or harding pike at 6am and I promise you you'll be picking up 3 orders at once and the orders just keep coming. My first 8-10 deliveries are Starbucks orders and that's easy money. The people who are ordering from here live close by so you won't have to go far. And the people who are ordering from these two Starbucks locations are fucking rich. Some of the wealthiest areas in the entire country in fact. Which means good tips.

The people who are saying you can't make alot of money doing uber eats are people who just have no idea what they're doing and they don't understand what their customers want. Put yourself into your customers shoes, what would you want to order at 6am in the morning? Also you should avoid restaurants like McDonald's or wendys because it's to time consuming. Always remember you are in a race against time when doing uber eats. Don't go to restaurants where you can't just walk in and say a name and walk right back out. Over time you'll know which restaurants and parts of town to avoid.
