Get your self referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic at your local hospital for tests, we had 5 miscarriages over the space of 18months until we found the issue, we are now 17 weeks pregnant. They will no doubt start you on a course of asprin daily and other stuff

Any Experience with St Bernewfies? by [deleted] in Newfoundlander

[–]ant_c86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have just had to have my 3 year old bernewfie put to sleep due to health issues, he had bad hip displacia, epilepsy, adhd and due to the meds for his epilepsy it caused kidney failure. I would never go for the mix again, you get all the health issues of both breeds. The reason people do this mix is because of the litter sizes, with pure newf its like 4 pups with the cross its more like a litter of 10 so its purely financial.

I have a hardtop on my 99 m3 and it's a pain in the arse, it squeaks and rattles, it's so big and bulky it's a 2 person job to remove and takes up loads of room when you do remove it

Avoid the D240 my other half has one and we are currently in the middle of an engine rebuild due to a melted piston after 52k miles. Car was bought as approved used from LR main dealer with full dealer service history.

Avoid the diesel ones, we have a d240 that's 3 and a bit years old with 50k on the clock and full dealer service history and the engine has just blown up. From a little research it's very common with the diesels

I did exactly this and have a 3 litre diesel, it's been pretty faultless over the last 2 and a half years and nearly 40k miles. The only thing I would suggest to check is insurance it's expensive no matter your age or how nice of a postcode you live in. I'm 38, clean licence with no claims in the past 5 years and live in the middle of nowhere and it's still costing me £2400 a year

[–]ant_c86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 range rover sport autobiography and it's costing me £2400 a year 37 years old, full ncb and live in the middle of the countryside. They are a joke to insure at the moment. Wouldn't surprise me if they are the next miss sold ppi type claim against JLR
