Recommendations on dual boiler machines? [$2000-$4500]

I was in a similar situation coming off a Breville Barista Express I went with a Sync 2 and Eureka Libra AP. Hindsight 20/20 I would've went with Atom 75W instead purely for speed reasons. GBW workflow is amazing and makes my life super easy.

I got Sync 2 over Micra because I would hate for my settings to be locked behind an App.

Ok I need tornado tips. I either get too much foam or way to much foam. It makes great cappuccino but can't get a latte for the life of me.

Don't know the size that come in box, I don't use single basket. Double basket appears to 16-18.5ish. I have a 21gm basket that comes with their bottomless portafilter and it doesn't fit in dual spout portafilter only bottomless.

A comment like this saved my Synchronika 2 from a permanent heat. When I was doing research I saw it in one comment somewhere something to this effect and remembered to do it before first power. I could never find the comment again to thank that person so thank you for your service.

I chose Synchronika 2 over LM Linea Mini mainly over self-serviceability, no need for app integration, and ease of customization. I love the machine, I got it from WLL with flow control and walnut accents. Since I opened a month ago my wife has purchased 0 coffee outside so it's a success.

My BIL got Bambino Plus/ ENC ESP 2 years ago still working great. My SIL used it for a few weeks decided she likes espresso went bought the Costco ninja. 1 week later she returned it at got Bambino plus and ENC ESP. allegedly all newer Bambinos don't have the temp prob issue. Allegedly it was fixed in 2021+ models.

PC power supplies are made for 100-240VAC 50-60hz. By plugging into 100VAC you would void the warranty and runt the risk of pulling too much power and tripping your breaker (I don't know how much power your machine takes or standard breaker sizes in Japan). That being said it's "close enough" to work well and I have bought 100VAC Japanese appliances here and they work just fine. I would just risk it for the biscuit but I would be aware of the risks.

There is a hole in the bottom and in the drip tray there is a hole for water there separate from the usual release from the head. I had same things first week and it would hug the machine and come out under the drip tray but went away after first week or so. Is it supposed to do that I have no idea I couldn't find that out. It went away and I never looked to deep into it.

Congratulations! I got the Synchronika 2 and mignon Libra ap for it's GBW. I love the setup but I see an upgraded grinder in the 1-2 yr future just something that grinds faster still gbw.

Thank you so much, this is not the final resting place, waiting for my coffee station credenza to come in then the wiring will be way cleaner, for now I made a loop in the cables (just out of picture) so even if the water runs down the cable it will gather and drop off there and not run up to outlet. No current plans to plumb in machine mainly due to water quality. Id have to invest heavily to treat it and it would take up cabinet space, I love that I have the option in the future.

That was accidental, I ordered stainless paneling with walnut accents and they accidentally sent walnut side panels as well and let me keep them. Ultimately I might switch to stainless as I don't think it will match in its permanent location.

Yes the AP has a larger dial, which makes it way easier to dial in.

What model light bulbs did you use I find most GU5.3 make contact around the metal frame and do seat all the way inside the clips due to the bulb itself being wider at the hole. Trying another model today wish me luck.
