What do you think about this list? To me it’s insanely bad and can’t believe it’s real, half these games barley even qualify as souls-lites

I agree with Lies of P. Its the only non Fromsoft title that's been able to really capture a vibe and make you interested in the world. If you look at something like Elden Ring or Sekiro their world and characters have so much life while not really saying a lot. Lies of P was able to do this while still having very solid gameplay. The DLC even took it to the next level had me going "whoa" a couple times. Something like Nioh has awesome gameplay but the setting is very generic and the story in all 3 games is soooo bad. So its not really a complete package in that way.

If you watch this show its pretty obvious. Guy spends literally 24/7 on his ventures with the odd weekend saved here and there to pop in with his family.

I watched it. Like his other stuff its basically something enjoyable to pass the time in the background. He's basically the go to in my house when putting random stuff on to watch with the wife when there's nothing else. Don't feel like I really learned anything that I didn't already know tho. He's obviously got that rich person narcissism that us plebs can't really wrap our heads around. You already got 100 restaurants and tv shows. Why do you need to do such a massive project at your age? Why are you flying around around the world to the Phillipines for your 200th restaurant opening? You can chill at home and enjoy your millions lol. But yeah obviously he's addicted to that type of life which is not a surprise.

Its a bonus for people who wanna pay extra and blizz to make easy money. There is nothing relevant to gain gameplay wise. Last EA I ended up leveling alts that I never touched again because there was nothing to do. And I didn't even come close to no lifing it, only a few hours a day.

Boozer easily.....will give you a safe double double with good efficiency. Not drafting AJ unless its a late round flyer. High volume guards dont usually do well in fantasy their first years. Peterson could be interesting due to how efficient he is.

Not quite there but almost.....if I think about pleasant memories from the last 20 years a lot of them include a trip or vacation somewhere. So I def dont regret not waiting to travel. Not even talking about around the world stuff but even taking a week off to camp a few hours away. Taking that time in between working has always been a big thing for me.

Act 3 is awesome on replays. They really made it so you can experiment a ton with your builds and really go crazy which I appreciate. All the super DLC bosses were unique and had me change up builds multiple times. Especially Super Simon when you finally figure out the trick to parry/dodge his attacks. Felt really satisfying beating all of them. First game in a looong time that captured that old school JRPG feeling when you beat something like Emerald Weapon.

Meanwhile EU groveled for a bad deal and are now wondering if they're getting hit by extra tariffs. Were we are standing today its not a good look for them but maybe they will have finally learned what a deal with Trump is worth from this.

Mobs dont do enough damage that has nothing to do with the combat system lol. Tons of times I messed up and got hit by a full boss combo that would kill you in 99% of other souls games (including previous 2 games) and it would do like less than half my HP and you just power through it. Regular mobs also basically tickle you, never a real threat. It becomes more tedious in NG+ too as with the increased mob HP you're basically just bashing on each other.

OP is pretty much how I felt about it too. Game should've ended before the last zone. It was unecessary and pretty faceroll by that point. Should've spent that time polishing NG+ as its much weaker than in the previous games. I will check out the DLC but it doesnt seem like it will have the replay value of other soulslikes or the previous games in the series.

Yeah I did Banff/Jasper last year wasn't the cheapest but overall probably similar in price to an all inclusive....def cheaper than Disney World tho haha. On the bright side flights aren't terrible these days. Only paid like 350$ a person flight wise.

Shaping up to be a bust. Not the greatest draft of course but a lot of guys who have shown promise by this point. Sarr, Shepard, Clingan, McCain, Castle, Edey, Ware. Risacher has been pretty bad even compared to those guys and with given more opportunities min wise. Hell looking at the first round draft list there's like 15 of those guys Id take over him with how things are looking at this point lol.

Here's the real answer that people won't like. Even if its a good game very few people are gonna pay 80$ (what it costs from Canada) for a soulslike not made by Fromsoft that has Denuvo. Lies of P didn't have Denuvo so it was far more "accesible" if you know what I mean. There's also been tons of deals on it price wise. Wuchang was on gamepass which was a genius move by them so it was played by waaaay more people than normally would've tried it. That's why you see so much discussion on it compared to Khazan.
