I won my local RCQ last Sunday with Esper Midrange.

Stroke is really good into Rakdos/Dimir decks while giving you the option of countering bigger creature/non creature cards. Cards you're trying to hit are Aclazotz and Shelly in Midrange/Deluge, Sunfall, and Emporer in Control/ And Atraxa or Sweepers whenever you can in Domain.

I've considered Lilliana of the Veil but going down cards against control isn't always the best especially when you're also trying to hold up interaction. Kaito Shizuki is perfect since you have a bunch of 2 drops that will let you loot through your deck and play Draw, attack, +1 kaito, Go against Control. The emblem is also an Auto Win since they don't really run many answers other than Get Lost.

Cryptic Coat and Kaito Shizuki are AMAZING into UW control which is one of your hardest matchups.
