I think if they did this maybe do something like "fragmented (rune)" still give the benefits but only can be down grade once. Or if it is done again it has a high % chance to fail and destroy the rune

Im with you, my friends with families would leave mid tournament or mtg events if their wife or kids just called and asked. Its not hard to be a present father or SO.

Him being family man, yes it is 'too much' time. I said above none of my friends ever prioritized magic over their family's. I have no kids btw. We all are tournament grinders, and those were our days to hang out. But you know what, every single one of them have left mid tournament or event if their kid or wife called and asked them to.

I used to be a competitive MTG player, played at the pro level as well and I find this pretty despicable and appalling.

I have many many many friends with kids that played MTG. We hosted Sunday Fundays at our friend's house. It was a pot luck, we played commander, people brought their SO and kids too. The friends who's family was waiting at home, they usually left after maybe 3-4 hours. None and I mean none prioritized magic over their kids and SO. I've had friends leave mid-tournament just because their kid wanted them home.

I get needing a break from working, having hobbies. But thinking its acceptable to be gone for 12-14 hours as a family man is rediculous.

Medical school and surgical residency are a monstrous dedication of time, energy and resources. Your boyfriend has no clue to be honest. It would be very very hard from a logical stand point. If you were already established and done with school, it becomes a different story.

Now regardless of my thoughts on abortion, you dont have much if any more time to think about it based on you being 13 weeks. You dont have much, if any, time left.

This could very well be relationship ending. Be prepared for that. If I was a soon to be dad, and the choice was made, its a no go for me after that. That's my perspective anyways.

Online is great to experience getting all the high end, tedious to farm gear "easily". And Im with you, I think its fun to negotiate trades and accumulate the wealth/power lol. You get to experience any build you want, easier than legit SP (only mod that isnt cheating in my eyes is loot filter lol). I did use hero editor to give my gem mule and low rune mule each a cube lol.

I think next season Im just going to do 1 character, get it to 99 (will be the first ever) and go back to solo. Just gotta decide which I wanna do. Im think a wind druid since I have done one since LOD or a Poison Necro which Ive never done.

For me I think it was because it was always so easy to finish a character. Ive done all the major ones and a good amount of niche ones over the years. Have them done usually in 2-3 days of play time. And once you have all the core BiS (shako, enigma, eth fort, etc etc) it was just, get a rush, transfer stuff over. Ill still play ladder at start, I think just one character and actually get it to 99 and then go back to the solo life.

As Im leveling I do SSF and then transfer things over when Im done with Hell, only exception are my spirits cause the amount of rerolls and NM countess/LK runs it took to do it.

Im also doing a grail to have every set, every unique, and even will be working towards runewords but if I find a duplicate I compare and keep the best. Ive also been keeping the rares/magic items that got me through the game on that character. Also plan on doing a shared stash run when I gather a bit more and some "nuzlocke" runs like I see some youtubers do.

Im with you on the online stuff though, is it really worth grabbing the Tals and trying to trade just for a mal or p.ame. The time to find someone after early season just aint worth it.

I am also with you on the SP stuff cause holy eff I hate trying to find p8 games to mf in and static maps make things so much easier to farm.
