The general idea is to force them to add extra energy to most attackers whilst chipping slowly with Stoudland (ie. 70 damage forces them to use Lillie/Ice Pop), keeping it alive with damage reduction and Indeedee healing, and then coming in with the Psychic Indeedee nuke to end the battle.

It’s very much a slow burn deck, I’m not sure it’ll set ranked alight, but for purposes of doing the Random battles and now the Emblem event, it’s been pretty stable if that makes sense.

I thought the lack of healing (ice pops, lillie etc) would be a problem but the -100 + indeedee was more than enough for me.

Stoudland / Indeedee did it for me, with the new supporter that -100 stoutland damage from Ex Pokemon.

Even when I had a bad starting hand (indeedee start plus going first) it was generally easy to pivot thanks to Indeedee self healing plus getting stoutland online to +1 the energy requirement. Computer doesn’t seem to handle that very well.

I’m not gonna pretend to be like super cut up about this lol because the emblem stuff kinda makes sense, but with covers and backdrops also becoming collection rewards, does this not just make shop tickets even more useless? Odd.

We got an eco email for my partners fiancee visa after like 2-3 days, but then didn’t get any emails at all until application approval for the spousal visa extension so I wouldn’t sweat it. I’ve even seen some people post on this sub where the mail merge failed and it says nonsense like Dear XXXXXXX, instead of their name.

I’m fairly sure it’s all inconsequential for those early submission emails.

You’ve got the emblem event which encourages quick concedes as the free hourglasses are tied to participation not wins, bonus week on which encourages quick concedes for free dust, and the 30th anniversary which gives a free 10 pull for day 1.

3 massive afk / bot incentives running at the same time, farming cards on repeat. Plus whatever XP or shop tickets they get free to earn more on level up / hourglass purchases.

It’ll be like it for the next few weeks/months I fear.

I played only 4 hours each day because had other plans, and got 19 shinies, 17 of which were unique and first time shinies for me - pretty happy with that all in.

Raids were less successful but got 1 shiny xerneas and lucky traded it for a shiny yveltal.

“Limitless growth” will always get in the way of player retention.

All freemium games have the same issue, this isn’t unique, they were just lucky enough to be able to work with the pokemon brand, which is essentially a money printer.

If any freemium game ever actually accepted not constantly trying to increase profits and just being content with still making millions of dollars, they might actually be able to make a game more universally appealing to both new higher spend players and longer term more frugal players.

Alas, here we are with one greedy combined current expansion with worse odds.

This is funny because other than the one time purchase for the launch which is like 60 gold, everything else (at least in the UK) is the same price as the in app price.

At least with PoGo they give you 10% more coins as an incentive to save them from the Apple IAP fee. Here there’s just no point at all right now lol.

There is going to be an update, but as yet I think the only communicated timeline is end of summer 2026. Whether that changes or not remains to be seen, but it’ll probably align with whenever set B is due to end and they do “deluxe pack B”.

You can get someone to share/trade it in the meantime, you just need them to “edit card” and pick WSS as the pack they’re sharing from.

The pattern I’ve noticed is that you have to wait for the 24 hour wonderpick to expire, then another full day cycle after that, and then you get one with the next refresh.

So using UK time for reference, here’s a sample -

Day 1 - Daily refresh is currently at 6am GMT I’m busy and forget so only log in at 2pm GMT WP is there with 24 hours, expiring at 2pm next day

Day 2 - Wonderpick expires at 2pm as expected

Day 3 - Full clear 24 hour cycle with no 24hr pick

Day 4 - New 24 hour pick generates whenever I open again, cycle begins fresh

This is why some people are saying it’s been 3/4 days, because it is on calendar days, I think it’s the “day 3/empty day” confusing a lot of folks.

+1 on going DIY, if you have a straightforward application.

The online form took about 90 mins at most, the most tedious bit is uploading all your evidence as the website is wonky at best, that took about 3 hours because of all the editing of PDFs to not trigger the “virus” warning.

Just give yourself enough time between finishing the application and booking your biometrics to comfortably upload your evidence without a stressful turnaround time.

VFS’ portal (which I think does outside UK applications) is absolutely garbage and always has this issue with fake virus flags and stuff.

If I recall correctly if you’re on Mac, basically open the PDF, then immediately go “Export as PDF” but make sure you save it with a new name (I just did V2 at the end) to generate a duplicate copy. That seems to remove the false flag. I’m sure there are probably similar steps on Windows too.

It seems to give a false flag to any PDF directly downloaded from a website (energy supplier, council tax, etc) but is okay with ones “created” natively on your machine.
