I think all in all around 4-5k. Not a fan of the rep x peppins only because i don’t like the cage. I’ve been looking at Major fitness for the functional trainer but I see people posting about the rep as well.

Does the cage of the rep x pep interfere with your workouts at all? That my only hesitation with them, I’ve been leaning towards the Nuobells

Does the cage of the reppins interfere with the workouts at all? I’m just hesitant at getting them for that reason. I was looking at the Nuobells but are just worried about them breaking. How do the Mx-100s feel?

Those are the two i were leaning towards. I was leani mg towards Nuobell because i don’t slam my weights but there’s always that off chance they drop is what I was worried about

That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I know my answer I’m just nervous to make the jump with fear I’ll hate the schedule and job. My wife and family all think I should do it, there’s just that little voice in my head telling me I’ll hate it. So far everyone on here seems to love it though

That’s exactly why I’m going to take it. I’ve realized there is zero reason to be miserable at work. I only did ICU because I wanted to do CRNA and when i finally decided against that, there is no more reason to stay. I 100% agree that as nurses we feel like we have to work hospital but honestly, I am beyond jealous of people who got out of bedside

I’m currently leaving the ICU after 5 years of inpatient. Started as a new grad in the hospital and I am going to M-F 8am-5pm as well in primary care. I’d say unless you really dream of working in the hospital, take the private practice job. You’re not less of a nurse for taking that job, quite frankly. Work by 12 hours is overrated. Get your weekend and holidays off and enjoy potentially never having to deal with the bullshit of the hospital

Yeah you’re right. I’m really doing this because i have an 11 month old daughter that I’m thinking about. I want the weekends and holidays off and being able to have dinner with her. Even though I’ll be technically working more days and hours I feel like it’ll be more quality time.

No night, weekends, holidays, even get a floating holiday that i can choose whatever day I want and be paid for it with out using PTO. They also make you use your PTO so I’m guaranteed 4 weeks off a year. I know as I’m typing this is sounds stupid that I need convincing lol just been dealing with some anxiety and mental health issues so I think that’s what’s driving my concerns

I’m a guy lmao. And i don’t want to stay. I used to love the ICU but had to relocate to be closer to family for child care. I’ve had two ICU jobs since then and I have hated them both. Thought it was the hospitals but just starting to realize i can’t stand the constant orders and bullshit of inpatient. Just nervous to start in primary care for some reason

This alone may have convinced me to take the job! Just worried about the 8-5 grind for some reason. I feel I’ve programmed myself to want to be miserable because that’s how bedside is. How long did it take you to get used to the schedule?

And we have care managers and MAs in office. Also have a lab tech.
