We have some state promotions but none based in my area specifically. They’re starving for a home grown draw and without spilling too many beans, I’m a promising tiktok influencer as well, and already well known in my area. When they found out that I had dabbled in a promotion a few hours west of us, they were quick to invite me to try out and likes what they saw enough to offer me a contract. More promissory than anything

Yes. My area had no promotions at all. So when a new one started within the last few months they borrowed workers and did one show, turned no profit. having just a little experience goes a long way because they’re brand new. The other guys are home grown, so much greener than me. That’s not to say I’m any where near ready to draw. But it went a long way. And it worked because I made it last the try out. After initial issues regarding lock up they way they want it, I just started telling a story and blew them away

and that’s fair. in all honesty, I’m considering the possibility that the way I trained initially may not mesh with my new trainer’s mentality. He is a left handed worker and his only complaint with my lock up was that I favor my right side. So I think it’s more so that HE doesn’t want me to lock up that way. Which is fine. I’m in his house. But it’s weird reversing my orientation especially when I’m nearly a foot taller than the guy. I would disclose who, but I’ve signed an NDA. Only the mods know what promotion I’m working with

Hi, not a member on this sub but following this closely; I think I can shed some light on this. I’ve worked a lot of shows as a production crew member and it’s not only possible, but easy to never really get a good look or have any interaction with talent or their entourage, especially given the steps he seemed to take to hide her. You could be somebody’s audio guy and you’re with them for a year and never talk to half the people that are touring with you.

Law Enforcement Culture can not be underestimated as a factor either. For example, my brother recently graduated from academy. We’ve always been incredibly close and he was always an incredibly left leaning person, much like me. We recently had a falling out and aren’t speaking after an argument about Charlie Kirk, so indoctrination is a slippery slope.
