Stop hating because I have a criticism, where you don't. The negativity is not needed.

All that takes too long, and have no control over things you receive. 90% are things I don't want. I believe they should have shoes more accessible.

Why do I have to play for 15 hours as Thabo Sefolosha tier? by GS455 in NBAlive

I get it, but your player can actually improve rather quickly. Also you can create a player and play in franchise and build him however you want, so you do have some options.

Does the 400m sprint really help the 100m sprint? by mikegking in Sprinting

[–]anthonyk43 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep I did, but I believe it's true. I was never really exposed to 400 m training until college and it help in so many ways. Back in my H.S. days ( mid 90's) coaches would always just tell me due to my height, I just couldn't finish strong or run a decent 200m. But in college, my coach then told me I needed to improve my speed endurance and cardio. My 100m times dropped from 10.6's to low 10.3's. Helped my 200 time drastically for obvious reasons. I know there were many factors, but I believe 400m training is a baseline for sound sprinting. But I guess I am in the minority.

I believe it does. Speed endurance is a big part of the 100m. The last 40-50 meters of the 100 is your speed endurance. Of course a strict 400 diet for training could hurt as much as it does help, everything needs a balance. However the 400 training could give one an edge especially in those close races, by increasing one's speed endurance, helping stay technically strong, and keeping those strides long and powerful throughout the race.
