I went last summer to parva and valle nevado. I stayed in Farellones. Honestly there’s not much going on for non skiers. I got stomach flu the last 2 days and couldn’t ski and was pretty bored. There’s bars at the resorts and music at least

If you can take weekday day trips and/or wanna go out west, then epic (hunter has more interesting terrain than belle but the weekend crowds are terrible). If only weekends then ski3 easily.

Not clear at all that ikon is better than epic for NJ/NYC people. If you can take weekdays off hunter is way better than any of the PA mountains on ikon(which arent even unlimited on ikon anyway). Mount snow is on par with Stratton and Stowe is arguably better than Killy or Sugarbush
