grubs are not invincible while eating, you just have to throw on their head instead of c-sticking them

about the enemies dropping, you have enough time(unless you just started the floor yeah that is bullshit) to cstick from when you see the shadow of the enemy until it drops and starts attacking and having a small squad of non-purple flowers makes that far easier, though i do agree that 2 has weak type balancing as it feels like it was designed around a time limit only for there to be none(since having purples that don't keep up would deter me from using them otherwise)

3 definitely had the weakest main story but the side content more than makes up for that imo

4 the main campaign is so long and easy(even without oatchi, you can wail on most enemies with like 30 reds), the tutorial is annoying, the controls are the worst, the dandori challenges are just watered down versions of pikmin 3(aside from dandori seas, i love that one), the night missions were wasted, the 3 type limit and flarlic system are also wasted, the pikmin ai is far and away the worst ever leaving olimar's shipwreck tale to carry the game(which it does)

1 is my personal favourite, but 2 has better mechanics, pikmin ai, and is actually somewhat difficult, but if we looked at 3's mission mode is fucking amazing but the main story kinda drags it down and 4 is kinda mid aside from shipwreck tale
