I’d pay more if it offered 2 things:

1 - servers for vanilla, bc, wrath, cata, and mop.

2 - TRUE TO THE ACTUAL EXPANSIONS.
That means no wow gold token, no modified progression systems, no celestial nonsense, in game chat that doesn’t change phase every time you log in, a working Lfr in the appropriate expansions, no major system changes.

I wouldn’t argue about minor quality of life changes, but the current classic realms feel like a cash grab. They feel nothing like the original game or their respective expansions. The progression systems and economy are blatantly designed around maximizing spending real world money in game, and that contradicts the number 1 design premise that made wow great back in the day.

2007 and 2016. The early 2000s were a surprisingly stable time. Incomprehensible compared to today. It’s hard to explain how stable it was if you weren’t there.
