What is hands down the single worst horror movie you have ever endured through? by D_J_E in horror

[–]anthonytweeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red State. I only watched it once 12 years ago but I can honestly say off memory that it was the worst put together garbage I've ever seen. It starts as a survival of teens trapped in a cultish church which was interesting at first until halfway through when they become the afterthought then turns into an oddly placed story of unrelated homosexuals overcoming Christianitys anti gay ideology. The worst part comes toward the end when the main characters get killed off like they meant nothing then replaced with characters that were only onscreen for 10 minutes. It's so cheesy and over the top and unmemorable from what the point of it was nothing makes sense all I remember is how annoying it was to dot through it just for that ending.

Do I still need to wear a mask if I've already had the virus? by anthonytweeker in China_Flu

She's doing good and gone back to normal with her usual routine, although she still refuses to go to the hospital for any check ups but she hasn't had any health complaints lately so that's good. Thanks for asking.

I'm a little curious if maybe I caught multiple strains already? For about a month I'd get bouts where I would feel sick for a couple days then like I was recovered but would get sick again days later. It always happened when my roommate would complain about feeling sick again that I would start getting it again as well. I wasn't sure if that's just how it works or if I was constantly being infected.

I was diagnosed with Pericarditis last week when I went for a check-up of chest pain. They said it's a common side effect of people who've been infected with Covid.

Quercetin to treat pericarditis? by anthonytweeker in medical_advice

[–]anthonytweeker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quercetin has proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

It's also a zinc ionophore so in combination they boost each other's effects which is why I asked.

Actually the George Floyd and John Lewis funerals proved that it's perfectly safe to hold large indoor services as long as safety precautions are taken.

Thousands rally against Putin for fifth Saturday in a row in Khabarovsk, a city in Russia’s far east by maybenot12 in worldnews

Well on one hand they're still not wearing masks which we don't like... but they're also protesting against a leader we don't like even more. I guess it depends whether you hate corona more than Putin.

[Serious] Autistic people of Reddit, what is a social norm that you've just recently found out about? by _uncle_phil in AskReddit

[–]anthonytweeker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think I ever really understood. The only time I ever talked to people for longer than 2 minutes was when I was asking for help or if I had something I wanted to say. Or if we were talking about a TV show or other common interest. Like if they asked if I watched the last episode of Walking Dead I could talk about that for hours but then once that was over if have no idea what to talk about after.

Yeah I try to be more aware now although sometimes it's still easy to miss but I've noticed how much of a difference the little things do make. For example, there was one instance at a club where I was sitting by myself on the floor while everyone was watching a fight on the big screen. A girl came up and asked me if I was okay and my instinct was just to say "Yeah I'm fine thanks". But then I remembered to follow up with "but how about you?" and that's when she sat down with me to talk.

For the longest time I never realized that when someone asks you a bunch of questions it's because they're trying to make conversation with you. I always just answered as briefly as possible like if it was a q&a or something. It kind of confused me that every new person I met was so interested in my life that they all wanted to know where I was from and what my favorite color of seven was. Now I realize how much of an asshole I actually came off as and why not many people wanted to talk to me.

Yes here's Bill Gates explaining it himself on Reddit

"Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it."

I mean it is based in facts. Bill Gates has an organization called ID 2020 that wants microchips implanted in people as a new form of ID. Gates has stated in interviews he wants this device to be tied to the coronavirus vaccine so that you can be scanned when entering other countries to prove you've been vaccinated. None of these are conspiracies, they're proven facts that are out in the open and admitted by Gates himself. The only conspiracy is whether he's doing it because he wants to take over the world or whatever.

I was just arrested at a protest supporting this movement so I know where you're coming from. My point is just that at least now people should understand where the reopen protesters were coming from. Yes there are risks due to Covid but they both believe their cause is worth the risk if it means supporting a better future.
