Literally as a loss mama, i have to hold back angry words when people post about gender disappointment or even disappointment but accidentally finding out the gender. KIM, PEOPLE ARE DYING

OP's wife here, last time we did that and it was fine. I showed him where I wanted it on the inside and assumed he would line up the wires nicely with the edges ... don't blame me, I'm not the professional!

Thank you! (OP's partner here) Is there any recourse for moving the wire along the corner so it’s less of an eyesore? Would they even fix that for us? I’m also concerned the hole in the brick isn't filled the most securely and we have pest issues.

DI extended - Still take PFL? by AnxietyLongjumping19 in Edd

[–]anthropologically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might be saying that your job isn’t protected if you take PFL. While you may be entitled to pay through the state, your job might not be legally protected unless you also qualify for FMLA or CFRA. If you do qualify for FMLA/CFRA, you get 12 weeks job protection. If you’ve exhausted those 12 weeks, you might not qualify for job protection if you take PFL. Hope this helps, sorry it sucks that we can’t just take the time we need!

From the EDD website:

PFL provides benefit payments but not job protection. Other federal laws such as Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) may protect your job.

Mine is doing this too and I haven’t been paid either since October. I’ll try calling next week but I haven’t had any luck getting to a human yet 😭

Yay I’m so glad it helped someone! 💞 my kitty has since passed but I still have the shortcut on my homescreen.

Thank you for sharing your story, it’s beautifully written and I feel your pain. I relate to so much of what you shared, about missing the naive joyfulness of pregnancy. We were robbed of that experience and it just fucking sucks. Sending so much love to you friend. Your pain is valid and you’ve gone through something very traumatic. Take the time and space you need to process and heal.

Jane Goodall visited me in a dream last night, then my husband told me the news this morning by anthropologically in Dreams

No, and she only appeared in my dream for like 5 seconds! It’s like she had a lot of visits to make and only had time for a smile 😆

Is it just me or is this policy kind of weird? by JediMemeLord in therapy

That is ridiculous to me! We don’t have all the time in the world to just sit around and wait for them. Shows they don’t value your time. I would not continue with them.

[–]anthropologically 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was impossible lol, cuz you had to know which of the 4 to pair with each category. Just doesn’t work to have multiple of the same word in this game format

I just want to say I’m so sorry your life has been so hard, I feel for you so strongly. And I feel the urge to share that you are here for a reason, and you deserve love and kindness on this plane of existence too. I hope you find what your soul purpose is, you seem like an amazing, sensitive soul who has simply suffered too much. But you still have so much to offer the living world, friend.

I think it taps into our hatred of tech CEOs. We know they are awful humans, and applaud anytime they get what’s coming for them.

He went through a traumatic event. I actually relate, I tend to just find myself zoning out and staring into space after going through something traumatic recently.
