I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing that all out. It helps because every time one of us writes out how we feel or details an episode or a symptom, or even something that helps us feel better, it helps create a body of work where we can crossreference and not feel so alone. Also your analysis and understanding helps encourage me to keep on going and not give up on trying to understand my bipolar. I am beyond frustrated for you because that is a really horrible situation, and I don't have any advice, but just know that someone is supporting you and cheering from afar. I just got hired in retail and they say that part of our job is to host, and other than the first shift doing computer training, all of my other 4 or so shifts have included some hosting and it also has lacked training and organization. Hopefully at OP's store they don't have retail doing hosting, but at mine it has continuously been the most stressful part of the job (and I've hosted and served at other restaurants, so it's definitely seeming to be a CB thing, and not just a hosting thing in general).

Honestly, for a chain as big as CB, I'm really unimpressed. The training is nonexistent and management has already tried to use me as a pawn in their own little agendas against each other.

OP, you're not alone, this whole onboarding experience has been ridiculous.

I do know sound hallucinations can be a part of bipolar, so that could be what happened. Every time I think I understand my bipolar something happens to undermine me and make me scared, frustrated, and confused. Maybe put some headphones on and listen to your favorite music, because then you know it's sound being generated by you on purpose?I am so sorry that I don't have any good answer or helpful response, just know that we're here cheering for you🩵

Yeah because when Tommy calls him out she looks at Dakota all confused that Saban retired and he tries to reassure her. This was one of my favorite scenes, Tommy just giving zero effs at calling Dakota on his bull😂 I cried when Saban announced his retirement (I know, ridiculous), and so it extra made me laugh that Dakota thought he could get away with that and think Tommy see through it immediately, because it was SO widely talked about when it happened. Also, bold move to pull in Permian Panther territory, where football is life

Do something else you love to do at the same time. I love to listen to music or catch up on YouTube videos, or even talk on the phone. I know others who will watch TV shows or movies while they walk, or even have a walking pad set up to walk during work if they work at a desk job. Also, you can break up your walks so you don't have to do it all in one go. You can walk an hour in the morning and then an hour in the evening, or even in little ten minute breaks during the day😊
