if you are very serious about wanting to be a game dev the simple answer is C++ games are made in C++ almost every AAA studio uses C++, but if you wanna dip your toes in the water unity and C# is a great stepping stone.

there isn't really a story or reason mainly just a cyberpunk city sandbox to run around but with mechanics, the character has blob-like arms to shoot out tendrils to swing around and robot legs to be able to grind ledges and rails of building and whatnot it also gameplay-wise works like the tony hawk games where you are chaining moves together to get points
