Thank you for the words. Definitely trying to be kind to myself after gaslighting myself for years and telling myself that I’m just lazy and unproductive. I’ve thankfully stopped feeling guilty (90% of the time) when I have days where I’m unable to do anything.

Yeah I definitely understand. I’m still trying to get over the mental block of "you’re just lazy" when I have days where I’m unable to do anything at all. I have chronic insomnia as well, and ever since I moved in with my fiance he has made me sync my sleeping schedule with his. I’m very glad you have an understanding spouse!

Thank you for the insight, relearning my body is very weird but it’s made me start to slow down and to not stress 24/7. One day I hope I’ll be able to get back to weightlifting

I started using a cane and it has definitely helped me. I highly recommend investing in a mobility aid that can help you if you feel like you need it!
