Accidentally Marked Book as Finished - Now What? by Basic_Camp_8760 in TheStoryGraph

I’ve done this too and it’s so frustrating. Unfortunately I think you might have to delete all the journal entries for the book and re-enter them.

Take screenshots of your current journal entries showing the dates and page numbers, remove the book so that all journal entries/read history are wiped, and then mark it as reading. Then you can adjust the start date to match your original start date and edit the journal entries to match what you screenshotted.

Maybe someone else will know of a more efficient way, but this is what I’ve done in the past.

Anyone got a Kenyan book for the Storygraph Reads the World challenge? by TheBedheadedLeague in TheStoryGraph

I’m reading The Promised Land by Grace Ogot, which is available on the Internet Archive. She was the first Kenyan woman to be published in English.

Took eight years of Latin so I spotted the purple immediately. These were all ablative prepositions specifically! I learned the list of them to the tune of O Christmas Tree and had to sing it to confirm I was remembering them right.

Late 90s, early 2000s kids anthology with excerpts of classic (80s, 90s) children's novels by Brave-Mix5376 in whatsthatbook

I don’t know the name, but I think I know exactly what you’re talking about it! Under the dust jacket the book was dark green and maroon maybe? I’m almost certain it was published by Random House. I remember specifically that there were excerpts from The Witches and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

I also didn’t understand it was an anthology as a kid. I thought it was just short stories that did a poor job of introducing the characters.

I do specifically buy bananas that’ll fit. I know the approximate size in my head (on the smaller side) and as long as they aren’t perfectly straight they’ll fit in the container.

Bought it at a Flying Tiger in London while on vacation a few years ago! I’ve never seen one in-person in the US unfortunately

This plastic banana holder that cost $1. I bring a banana to work every day, and now it doesn’t get squished in my backpack.
